Ryker looked at the bandit leader with a serious look. Despite being able to hold his own against him, he could sense that he could only hold him off, maybe even injuring him if he was lucky. That's if he was holding back.
If he goes full force, he might be able to finish it, taking care of the bandit leader in one shot. Unfortunately, doing that is not smart as it will result in the other bandits fleeing at the sight of their leader being killed.
He needs to hold them off while Mashia slaughters the other bandits. He could sense some already bandits heading in his direction, the leader likely wanted to end this fight as quickly as possible.
He watched his opponent, moving as carefully as possible yet still agile and fast, like a snake. Like one, he probably waits until the right moment to strike, a different approach than his previous one. Most likely it stems from the fact his cultivation realm is weaker than him.
His being cautious meant more of a headache for him, as he could sense several Genesis Condensing experts entering their battlefield. If he counts it correctly, he has to face 9 Genesis Condensing experts plus one Genesis Foundation expert.
He calms himself, focusing on the opponents and waiting for one of them to strike. His patience paid off when one of the bandits with 5th Stage strength attacked him, he easily cut his head off.
Seeing he was killing his men the leader attacked him, trying to get close as he unleashed a flurry of blows. He parried all of it, the attack however leaving him exposed for another attack. He used his qi to block an incoming slash, before punching the attacker, resulting in the attacker losing his head.
He blocked another strike with his arm, leaving a gash on it. He could sense he covered it, removing the poison that remained. While he was dealing with the poison, two more bandits tried to attack him, keyword, trying.
He condensed a shield made of qi, blocking the attack before deciding to take things more seriously.
"Monkey Lord Fist!" he shouted, a powerful fist technique, one that left a mirage in the shape of a giant monkey in its wake. The two bandits retreated, covering their bodies with qi.
However, it was not enough as the fist obliterated them, turning them into a mist of blood. Seeing how his men were killed so easily made the bandit leader uneasy. The boy was far stronger than he had shown himself.
Even with his strength, it's likely he couldn't hold the attack. However, Ryker wasn't done yet as he unleashed another technique on the bandit group, "Sword Dance: Gale of Slashes!"
A flurry of slashes, each strong enough to sever a building into half, headed towards the bandit group. The leader quickly put up his defence, taking out a defensive artifact while at it, while the Genesis Condensing experts could only try it block it with their qi.
The slashes caused some cracks in the leader's defensive artifact, and his qi barrier also showed signs of breakage. For the Genesis Condensing experts, their defense could only hold for a short time before breaking. Luck saves them in the end as Ryker focuses most of his attack on their leaders.
For those below, even if the attack ends faster, it is still not something they could block, resulting in the rest of the bandits being heavily injured and dying, the powerful technique too much for them to handle.
By the time his attack ended, the leader let out a sigh of relief before looking down, despairing at the sight of corpses littering the ground. Thankfully, most of his Genesis Condensing experts, apart from the ones that were killed earlier, survived though they suffered some injuries.
He looked at the boy, panting slightly from exception. Realizing this was his chance, he rushed towards him before using his technique, "Shadow Serpent Hunt!" a cloud of darkness appeared, the leader figure disappeared inside the darkness.
Ryker tried to use his divine sense, frowning when he could only detect a few meters from all sides inside the weird cloud. He calmed himself, covering himself in qi before using a defensive technique, "Unbreakable Stone Skin," he uttered, his body coated in a strong defense, able to block most attacks.
He sensed a ripple, appearing and disappearing from his divine sense. No doubt the leader trying to confuse him, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Suddenly, he felt a dagger impact his skin, forcing him back, cracks forming from the blow. He knew if he hadn't protected himself, he would have lost his limbs. Meanwhile, the leader was most likely confused as to why his technique didn't work but that is something to think about later.
The darkness disappears allowing him to see the outside world once more. But when you first see several people readying to blast you to oblivion, you would want to stay inside too.
He strengthened his defense, the attack pushing him back and leaving some small cracks, the leader deciding to join in blasting him. While he could handle several blasts from weaker cultivators, a group of them could chip up his defense. For someone with higher cultivation than him, it would take some time for them to break his defense.
Deciding to change his approach, he stopped using the Unbreakable Stone Skin, getting several blasts in the process but nothing too fatal. He avoided the attack, using his movement technique and attacking the nearest Genesis Condensing expert.
The man tried to put up a defense but was killed with a single strike. The leader, realizing what he was doing has none of it, "All of you! Come to me!" he calls them, making the other Genesis Condensing expert run towards their leader.
However, two didn't get close to him in time, two Monkey Lord Fist killed them quickly. The leader looked at him with hatred. Genesis Condensing experts are not easy to train. Losing 7 out of 9 of his strongest men hurt him badly, with no way for him to recover except by asking his backer.
But would he even help him? Nevertheless, he knew he needed to kill the boy that currently beating them up, somehow. He was about to call the rest of his men when someone fell right next to the boy.
He looked at the figure to see a beautiful young woman with blue hair, looking at him with contempt. "I already clear them all, though several of the weaker ones probably escape. But I kill the rest of the Genesis Condensing experts," she said, throwing 6 heads towards him.
The leader's heart aches at seeing that he only has 2 Genesis Condensing experts left, while the other sides, besides some injuries, were relatively unscathed. He was about to attack them when the two moved in front of him before punching him, sending him flying. He landed inside an intact wall, his vision blurry as his last two men were killed.
The last thing he saw was a look of fury directed towards him.
