This action of his left Aelia speechless again. She had never felt such love and care before. The things Javier did for her paled in comparison for his love was rather a cheap excuse. The lady couldn't help but compare the two men, Ezekiel was changing her views on how actual love is supposed to feel like but at the same time... she couldn't reciprocate such love. At least, not yet.

"You should go, then." Aelia said softly. "You mustn't leave work like this again, okay?"

Ezekiel grinned, "No promises." He held out his hand, waiting for her to put her hand in his.

Aelia did just that and Ezekiel brought her hand up to his lips, planting a gentle kiss on her hand, "Till we meet again, Aelia."

"I'll be waiting, Ezekiel."

His face seemed to brighten up with what she said and he nodded. "Then.." Ezekiel waved before walking out of the room.

Aelia followed, deciding to see him out. The two walked in silence and soon they had reached the place where Ezekiel's horse was. Aelia's family came out and bid farewell to the Grand Duke as well and saw him off as he galloped away, back to his manor, on his horse.

It was well after dinner. Aelia was in her bedroom, near her window thinking about her feelings. She didn't want to give Ezekiel any false hopes or lead him on when she wasn't even sure if she had moved on from her past lover. Although Javier had cut her deep, the only reason he was able to hurt her so was because she held him so dear and near her heart. Sighing softly, she kept her gaze on the stars and the moon which lit up the dark sky. Her thoughts wandering from plans of revenge to Ezekiel and how he treated her. Aelia found herself blushing as soon as an image of him popped up in her mind. But she waved it away, knowing that she had to complete her revenge first before anything else. She should show everyone that no one should mess with the Perez family. Aelia's soft eyes hardened slightly as she thought of Javier and what he did. She had never felt so betrayed in her whole life. The sad part about it all was that he was only able to do such a thing was because she was the weakest out of her family. And she hated it. She wanted to be strong as well. Aelia racked her brains and thought of the very first time she and Javier had met. They met in the town when Aelia had been out for shopping and saw Javier unable to buy food as he did not have enough money. So, she gave him some money and offered him a job at the Perez manor. Her kindness was what led to him manipulating her and in the end dumping her in such a way. Aelia's heart trembled slightly. Since birth, all she was ever taught was to be kind so now when she sees the result of her kindness she wishes she had never been kind. Aelia wished she had been like those cold and mean villainesses who would care only about themselves.

"Oh, well.. no use crying over spilt milk. I'll just make sure this never happens again." Aelia murmured as she stepped away from the window, heading towards her bed.

The lady laid in her bed and looked up at the ceiling, her mind full of thoughts. Somehow, she managed to fall asleep amidst the chaos in her brain.
