"Get me a cup of coffee," a magnetic voice sounded, and Tang Yutong trembled as his voice was close to her ear. She got up and went to pour a cup of coffee, impatiently placing it on Mo Jin's desk before turning to leave.
Mo Jin took a sip, his face turning green before he spat it out, angrily saying, "Tang Yutong, are you trying to scald me?"
Tang Yutong stopped in her tracks, turning to look at him with a frown. She remembered it wasn't hot, just warm when she brought it over.
"Where's the scalding? It was warm when I brought it over..."
Before she could finish, Mo Jin interrupted her.
"Are you talking back to me?" Mo Jin's face darkened, looking like he wanted to kill someone.
Tang Yutong gritted her teeth, finally realizing that this shameless man was deliberately making things difficult for her. She had even tested the temperature before bringing it over, it wasn't hot at all.
She sneered inwardly, how childish.
"Mr. Mo, I'm sorry, I'll be more careful next time and get you a new cup now." She had to lower her head when under someone's roof.
After speaking, she poured the coffee out and returned to her office chair, continuing to work. She was distracted by Mo Jin's interruption and didn't know when this kind of day would end.
Would Mo Jin find another way to make things difficult for her?
Late into the night, there was no sound in the office. The walls and doors were soundproof, and the lights were still on inside. Mo Jin was still working.
Looking at the pile of documents in front of her, she felt like she couldn't finish them even if she worked all night. She didn't know when she had fallen asleep on the desk, with the computer screen still lit up in front of her.
Mo Jin opened the door to his office and saw the scene before him. Tang Yutong was asleep on the desk, frowning with a heavy heart, her small figure dressed in thin clothing.
He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom in his office, which had a bed, a water heater, and everything that was needed. He put Tang Yutong on the bed, covered her with a blanket, and watched her peaceful sleeping face. His dark eyes showed no emotion, his thin lips tightly pursed. He went to the window and lit a cigarette, smoking silently.
The pain from his wound came again, and he frowned, groaning softly. He closed the door and made a phone call in his office.
The call was quickly answered, and he spoke in a low voice, "Come over, bring your equipment."
Half an hour later, the office door opened and a young man rushed in, placing his medical kit on the table and anxiously asking, "Has the wound opened again?"
"Yeah," Mo Jin replied calmly.
The young man couldn't help but scold him, "I told you not to move around. How many times has the wound opened since yesterday? What did you do this time?"
"You talk too much. Just bandage me up and leave," Mo Jin said coldly, not giving him a good look.
"I'm here to help you, and this is your attitude? Mo Jin, are you crazy?" The young man knew about his situation and couldn't help but say, "Are you stupid? Is it worth it to do so much for that woman you married?"
Mo Jin's expression remained unchanged, but his eyes showed a hint of anger. He said in a low voice, "You don't understand. Just do your job and leave."
He knew that the Mo family had taken over the Tang family, but the company's general manager and employees remained largely the same, without any significant changes. He didn't know what kind of magic Tang Yutong possessed that made Mo Jing so devoted to her, to the point of being bitten by a wolf for her and refusing to go to the hospital, just casually bandaging his wounds.
What was he after? Just a woman like her? What was the point of forcing himself to be bound to her through marriage?
"Shut up. My affairs are none of your business," Mo Jing's face was as dark as ink, his eagle eyes bloodthirsty and full of killing intent.
The young man was taken aback, then sighed, "I'll bandage you up first, and then I'll leave." He knew that Mo Jing would react this way, and he really felt sorry for him.
In his heart, he was like thunder, not liking women like Tang Yutong, but he didn't dare to say much. Mo Jing was a lunatic, and anything related to Tang Yutong would change his attitude.
Mo Jing took off his suit, enduring the pain, letting him bandage him up. Fortunately, not much blood had flowed out, otherwise it would have been more troublesome. The wound on his shoulder was sewn up by him overnight, and it wasn't a big deal. It was just the wound on his arm, a big cut that wasn't sewn up, just treated with medicine and bandaged.
For some reason, it had opened up again.
How did he endure such pain without making a sound? He didn't even change his expression.
After everything was done, Mo Jin put on his clothes and began to give the guests a send-off. "Since we're done, hurry up and leave. I still have work to do."
"Are you crazy to be working so late? Can't you just rest and recover?"
"Get lost!"
Mo Jin's voice was calm but full of hostility. The young man felt that if he didn't leave soon, Mo Jin would start to chase him away.
Is this still a friend? He doesn't even listen to advice, and he doesn't harm him. What a temper! But when he thought about how Mo Jin had always been like this, he felt relieved.
He sighed, picked up his medical kit, reminded Mo Jin to take care of his wound and not to reopen it, and left.
What an ungrateful guy!
After he left, Mo Jin sat back in his office chair. The soft light shone on him, casting a tall shadow.
At this moment, his cold lips pursed slightly, and he stood up and went to the room to take a look. Tang Yutong was still sleeping, but it seemed like she was not sleeping well.
Mo Jin's handsome face softened a bit, but when he thought about tomorrow morning, his face darkened again, and a chill spread throughout his body.
Tang Yutong woke up at nine o'clock the next day.
Looking at the unfamiliar environment, she thought she had come to the wrong place at first. Gradually, memories of yesterday came back to her. She remembered falling asleep and then she didn't know what happened.
When did she come to bed? Where is this place?
At this moment, the door opened, and Mo Jin walked in and sat on the sofa naturally, sneering, "Wake up and get up!"
"I, how did I end up sleeping here?" Tang Yutong held the blanket tightly and looked at him warily. She looked at her clothes and saw no signs of them being taken off, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
Mo Jin could tell from her expression what she was thinking. Did she really think he was such a despicable person?
"Do you think I'm interested in your bean sprout body? Even if I wanted to do something to you, who would dare to stop me?" Mo Jin sneered.
Tang Yutong thought he was just being childish and ridiculous. She didn't bother arguing with him, quickly got up, put on her coat, and left.
It was then that she realized she was in Mo Jin's office, in his private rest area. He had put her in there to sleep, and she didn't know what his intentions were.
Seeing Tang Yutong's ungrateful expression, Mo Jin didn't care. He walked out of the rest area, exuding a cold aura and a cold sneer. "You didn't complete yesterday's task on time. What kind of punishment do you want to accept? Deduct your salary or work overtime for a week?"
Tang Yutong paused for a moment, then snapped back to reality. She was so angry that she trembled all over. He did it on purpose, knowing she couldn't complete the task.
"I'll work overtime!" She gritted her teeth. No matter what, she couldn't afford to have her salary deducted.
"Hmm, come with me somewhere this afternoon!" Mo Jin glanced at her, his black eyes deep and unfathomable, his voice low and hoarse.
This was an order, with no room for doubt.
