Chapter 100 - Chapter 101: Revolt against the Heavens: Battle of the Nine Serenities (6)

At this time, several sage level demons barely managed to maintain their calm. "Although Hezhi may have appeared. Don't forget, he has never appeared after his battle with the Third Heaven, perhaps he is still wounded!"

"Right, that's right."

As the demons spoke amongst themselves, the earth began to continually crack. Divine light shot out.

The moment that Hezhi appeared, the four demons stepped back in the skies, their pupils shrinking.

This fear came from Hezhi's aura!

The demon were awed and horrified. They drew back again and again, a cold chill running down their backs. None of them were able to summon the courage to face Hezhi!

There were too many legends concerning the Demonic Overlord.

Hezhi stood on top of the Demon Emperor Palace, flying closer and closer to the demons!

Seeing Hezhi fly towards them, the demons were horrified. Although they had all spoken rampant and arrogant words, the truth was that it was merely a front and they were actually afraid in their hearts.

"Attack him, destroy him!" A demon sage gnashed out.

Suddenly Blood gushed out like an erupting volcano, recklessly falling all over the skies. Many demon's flesh and blood was crushed as it started to flow out from their broken body. Sounds of cracking skulls filled the world.

This was a horrifying sound, one left that one's scalp tingling with fear!

The demon sages all stared at this scene with wide eyes, their palms wet with sweat. Turbulent waves rose up in their hearts!

They already expected that Hezhi was strong, likely very strong, but they never imagined he could make such an attack.

Just what kind of abnormal strength was this!? This is comparable to the Holy Man!

Meanwhile the Tribulation Immortals and Eternal Life Beings also began to wrap up their battles.

Out of the countless Tribulation Immortal level demons only 5 remained.

The Holy Man quickly made one last move, killing the already terrible injured Tribulation Immortals of the demons.

Finally the forces of the high level combat forces of the coalition are about to meet up with the low level cultivators, but what they saw shocked them all.

Demon Emperor Hezhi was currently wreaking havoc among the demon forces!

The entire battlefield is painted red from the blood of the myriad dead demons.

But what happened next shocked the cultivators and demons alike, leaving them in a state of disbelief. A space gate materialized and a figure emerged from its depths, and all eyes widened in terror and awe. It was none other than the dreaded Liquid Metal Ball, the harbinger of destruction and chaos.

"Serenities Ruler! It's over! We're dead!" cried out the cultivators of the present world, their voices laced with desperation and fear. The sight of the Liquid Metal Ball filled them with a sense of impending doom, as if their very existence teetered on the edge of oblivion.

Meanwhile, amidst the chaos and despair, the surviving demons erupted into cheer. They believed that salvation had arrived, that their dark reign would continue unabated. Little did they know that the true identity of the Liquid Metal Ball was not the feared Eight Nine Serenities Ruler, but a far more enigmatic and powerful entity, the Heavenly Way.

Only the leaders of the cultivators, who had anticipated this unexpected turn of events a long time ago, remained calm. They understood that a large-scale battle during the era of Changing Heaven most likely meant the arrival of Heavenly Way Ball.

This is what they wanted!

The Heavenly Way had been lured out of hiding place!

Heavenly Way Ball wasted no time. With a determination, it descended upon the chaotic battleground, its very presence demanding attention and respect. The cultivators and demons momentarily ceased their clashes, awestruck by the arrival of this enigmatic force.

In a display of unimaginable power, the Heavenly Way Ball summoned its Immortal Energy, engulfing the combatants and banishing them to a realm beyond comprehension. A Second later the cultivators and demons found themselves trapped within the confines of a Small Black Room, a place infamous for its oppressive aura and inescapable nature. This secluded realm was none other than the Heavenly Way Prison.

While being banished into it a scream could be heard "NO!!! This can't happen! Only one percent!" This was obviously Demon Emperor Hezhi, whose formation was only lacking a single percent before he would have become the new ruler of the Nine Serenities.

But just as they were banished into the Small Black Room another space gate opened. Out of it stepped none other than Zenith Heaven Emperor.

"Gotcha! Heavenly Way prepare for your defeat!"

The plan of the cultivators succeeded.

Now everything depends on this final battle between Zenith Heaven Emperor and the Heavenly Way!

In the vast expanse of the devastated landscape, where once vibrant life thrived, now lay a barren wasteland. The clash between the Seventh Nine Serenities Ruler, White, and the Eighth Nine Serenities Ruler, Fat Ball, had unleashed unimaginable devastation. The air hung heavy with the acrid stench of death, as not a single living being remained in the desolate 100000 square kilometers surrounding them.

As the battle raged on, White unleashed torrents of dark energy, engulfing the area in an inky blackness. The darkness coiled around Fat Ball, attempting to suffocate him, but his liquid metal form contorted and twisted, evading the grip of darkness. With a sly grin, Fat Ball retaliated, launching acidic projectiles from his malleable form, corroding the surrounding landscape.

Despite Fat Ball's resilience, White slowly gained the upper hand. He combined his mastery of dark energy with swift and precise martial arts, delivering devastating blows to Fat Ball's metallic exterior. Each strike reverberated with a resounding impact, shaking the shattered remnants of the land. Fat Ball's form quivered under the relentless assault, but his unwavering determination kept him fighting.

Sensing an opportunity, White prepared to deliver a finishing blow. With his powers reaching their apex, he summoned forth an immense vortex of darkness, ready to consume Fat Ball entirely. The swirling maelstrom crackled with an ominous energy, promising obliteration.

But as White prepared to unleash his ultimate attack, an unexpected twist occurred. Fat Ball, defying all expectations, chose to embrace a free death.

As White stood there, stunned by Fat Ball's unexpected choice, the air crackled with an eerie stillness. Fat Ball's form vanished, dissolving into nothingness, leaving behind only a strange bone that lay on the ground, gleaming with an otherworldly aura.

But just as the moment of respite began to settle, a faint ripple disturbed the silence. From the very spot where Fat Ball had once stood, a faint shimmer emerged. The liquid metal that composed his body began to coalesce, forming droplets that glinted with a silver radiance.

With each passing moment, the droplets gathered momentum, swirling and intertwining in a mesmerizing dance. The strange bone acted as a catalyst, drawing the liquid metal towards it with a magnetic pull. The molten essence embraced the bone, weaving around it with a mesmerizing grace.

Gradually, the liquid metal solidified, taking on a form once more. The metallic droplets fused together, expanding and morphing into the unmistakable shape of Fat Ball. His body, now fully reconstituted, shimmered with a renewed power and resilience.

The resurrection was complete, and Fat Ball stood before White once again, stronger than ever. His gaze burned with a newfound determination, as he prepared to resume the battle that had been temporarily interrupted.

However, White's triumph was short-lived. Just as the echoes of Fat Ball's demise seemed to fade, a blinding surge of energy burst forth from the spot where he had stood. It was a resurrection of unimaginable power. Fat Ball, infused with the full force of his resurrected essence, returned to the battlefield, his form pulsating with renewed vigor.

"WHITE! Did you really think you could get rid of me so easily? I am the Ruler of the Nine Serenities, and death holds no power over me!" Fat Ball's voice dripped with malevolence, his words laced with a mocking tone.

White couldn't help but roll his eyes at Fat Ball's dramatic resurrection. "Oh, look who's back from the dead again," he remarked sarcastically.

Fat Ball grinned, his metallic surface reflecting the light of the surrounding destruction. "Did you miss me, White?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

"I can't say that I did," White replied coolly, his eyes narrowing as he prepared for the next round of their battle.

"Ah, come on, don't be like that," Fat Ball cackled. "You have to admit, I'm quite entertaining."

"You're nothing but a nuisance," White retorted, launching a flurry of attacks at his opponent.

Fat Ball dodged and weaved with surprising agility, his body morphing and contorting in ways that should have been impossible for a liquid metal sphere. "Is that the best you can do, White? I expected more from the great Seventh Nine Serenities Ruler."

"You never know when to shut up, do you?" White growled, his frustration mounting with each passing moment.

"Ah, but that's what makes life interesting, isn't it?" Fat Ball replied, his tone almost philosophical. "Now DIE!"

White shook his head in disbelief. "You're insane."

With that, he launched himself at White with renewed vigor, their battle continuing with even greater ferocity than before.
