"I did everything I could to shield my daughters from their malicious gaze, but I suppose we can not fight fate and eventually have to accept it." Phoenix expressed her disappointment.
She had mistakenly believed that Augustine was pursuing her to exact revenge. But she was wrong and the truth was much darker than they could've thought.
"Remember you told me, you no longer see Augustine's future?" Phoenix questioned, darting her gaze in Arthur's direction, and he nodded.
"It was because he mated with the dark witch and Mason is the product of their sexual encounter," Phoenix disclosed, shocking Arthur.
He now knew why, despite knowing about Mason, he was unable to see his future. But then something clicked in his mind and his eyes darted towards Phoenix anxiously.
Feeling his throat dry, he uttered, "And that dark witch is none other than, Sabrina."
