Sitting across Martha and Andreas on the chair, Lucian shook his leg furiously. Eventually, he broke the silence, shifting his murderous gaze between the two.
"Where is my mate?" he asked.
Both Martha and Andreas flinched at the sound of his deadpan tone. They could feel the intensity of his patience as he talked to them.
"Lucian, we have no idea how—" Andreas plucked up the courage to say something, but as soon as he sensed Lucian's gaze, he swallowed.
"You are clueless," Lucian mocked, and his laugh had the sound of an alarm, filling them with fear.
"What rubbish! How come you were not aware of anyone else's presence?" Lucian growled, stopping his laughter and leaving Martha and Andreas speechless.
"You still stand here protecting yourself after Mason broke into your property and took away my mate." Darting his eyes to Martha, Lucian questioned.
"What about you? Aren't you a witch? How come you didn't sense him coming?"
