The abrupt tug stunned Ariana, who opened her eyes wide in surprise.
She almost called him "Lucian," gasping for air.
Ariana did not anticipate that Lucian would drag her around all of a sudden, but when she turned to face him, he seemed to take pleasure in her surprised expression and grinned.
"What brings you here, Ari?" Lucian asked, obliging to his reaction. He then simply took her hand and led her deeper into the room.
Lucian then helped her to sit on the couch and soon joined her.
However, Ariana looked at him like he was crazy. The Lucian she had met earlier appeared so solitary, with barely any emotion visible in his deep blue eyes; however, once their confusion was cleared, he felt more than rejuvenated and returned to his previous mischievous ways.
"Well, Julianna gave me a picture of her mother after I asked for it." Ariana got her confused thoughts straight and got back to talking about the important things.
