Lucian and Ariana soon reached Andreas' place. Their unexpected visit surprised the old man but soon he welcomed the two warmly.
"I wasn't expecting you two, but now that you are here I presume it must be something important," he said motioning then to take the seats.
After learning the truth Andreas realized that Ariana was never going to forgive him. Hiding from her all these years was the biggest mistake of his life, however, he had his reasons for being estranged from her.
However, her arrival today gave him hope and he couldn't stop smiling though he sensed the purpose of their coming.
Ariana found it awkward to associate with Andreas as she was still getting used to his identity as her grandfather. However, when she heard him speak her eyes darted at him in surprise.
Andreas was quick to guess about their intentions and that made Ariana feel even more uncomfortable.
