After much difficulty, Arthur somehow mustered the courage and broke the news of Remy's death to Silveira. His wife was devastated by the news and refused to believe him.
Arthur was left with no other choice but to bring her to the morgue to confirm the news all by herself. When she saw Remy's lifeless body resting inside storage, realization drew to Silveira, and a heart-wrenching cry filled the place breaking the tranquility.
Holding her daughter, she cried her heart out until she passed out and they had to bring her back home.
It was concluded that Remy was killed by slitting her throat. The cops assumed it was foul play but the doctors doubted that she was attacked by a wild animal as the cut matched the impression of a claw. But the only thing was there wasn't any concrete proof left behind for them to conclude anything.
