The sun had already gone down with the moon taking over the night. The chirping sound of the crickets and the rustling of leaves started invading the sleeping figures.
The wind was blowing a little strong, alarming the animals around as they growled from a distance, letting everyone know about the change in atmosphere.
Ariana stirred from her slumber feeling the cool breeze that touched her skin, letting it fall cold and she shivered slowly before opening her eyes.
She had yet to adjust her vision, and when she did she found herself inside the forest. Her eyes grew wider at the sight of darkness around with only the moonlight falling from above, showing her the surroundings.
CHIRP! CHIRP
The sound of the insect snapped her out of her trance and she looked around only to find Griffin resting next to her, still unconscious. Soon the memories from before flashed through her mind and her senses alarmed as she forced herself up and reached for him.
