Watching Andreas spacing out, Martha asked," How long do you plan on staying in Orchid"
Snapping out of his thoughts Andreas gave her a complicated look. Her eyes stared at him seriously making him retreat.
"As long as I can protect her" he answered without hesitation.
Martha heaved out a sigh, unable to argue with his stubbornness. She knew no matter how many times she tried to put sense into his brain, he wasn't going to change his decision.
Sensing her lack of response Andreas finally breath a sigh of relief. He could sense that Martha had finally come to realize there was no point in stopping him from doing what he should've done years back.
He regretted his decision to abandon Ariana and now he regretted it from the bottom of his heart. He wanted to rectify his mistakes but he was ashamed to tell her that she was his granddaughter whom he had thrown away because he blamed her for her mother's death.
