A car soon reached the mansion gates and both Ariana and Griffin stepped out of it.
Even after declining his offer, Griffin was persistent in dropping her home. Left with no other choice she had to agree with him.
Griffin on the other hand was feeling sorry for whatever Veronica said to her, but instead of apologizing on her behalf, he remained silent throughout the drive.
Standing next to the car awkwardly Ariana then waved her hand ready to bid him goodbye when suddenly Griffin stopped her.
"Inside... The restaurant... Whatever you said... Is it true" he sounded a little skeptical but still the uneasiness in his heart didn't let him stop.
Ariana furrowed on his question confusingly but soon she realized what he was pointing at. Keeping a neutral face she said.
"Yes"
Her acceptance surprised Griffin and he clutched his palm into a fist.
