Alex eyed Luke with a blank face. The sheer look of frustration in his eyes was evident, yet the man decided to seal his mouth. He couldn't bring himself to console Luke nor could he justify his behavior.
For him, this was the only way to keep them away from each other. The unnecessary feeling will only bring them pain and he wasn't ready to go through it.
Letting go of the work he was doing Alex clasped his palms and rested them under his chin with his elbow placed on the table and stared at Luke calmly.
"If you don't have anything else to say then can we please focus on our work?" Alex's cold words made Luke frown in disbelief.
Scoffing out a disappointed sigh, he chuckled unbelievably and bobbed his head," You are so cruel" he said muttering under his breath. His eyes turned extremely cold, while he watched the man for a few seconds before bursting out of the cabin in fury.
