After returning home Lucian locked himself in his study room. He couldn't stop the train of thoughts running from his mind.
Ariana's rejection left him stranded and he felt like no matter what, he would never be able to change her mind.
"Why is this girl so stubborn? Can't she see my worries " he said gnashing his teeth in fury and banged his fist on the table venting out his rage on that non-living.
Lucian couldn't forget the way Griffin always looked at Ariana and that itself made his blood boil in rage.
"Is she even bothered that I haven't talked with her till now" he muttered, continuing self-pitying.
It was he who didn't speak with her and gave her cold shoulder throughout the drive. He didn't even bother looking back to see if she was following him and just dashed into his room without paying a second glance.
And now here he was complaining that she was the one who didn't take the initiative to coax him and left him all by himself.
