Turning their head toward the direction of the voice they watched Luke entering the house.
"Sorry for making you all wait" he apologized and walked ahead to greet his mother.
Kendal snapped out of the trance when Luke hugged her. "Mom... I miss you so much" he said embracing his mother tightly.
Realizing that Luke's arrival gave them a chance to divert Ariana's mind Kendal relaxed before she slapped her son on his back.
"That's why you don't come to meet me. That much you miss your old mother" Kendal complained watching Luke quickly pull back.
With a confused face, he looked around and asked his brother," Old! Who is old here? Did you hear that too brother, Mother is saying she is old..." Luke playfully teased his mother who never claimed to be called old despite having two big sons of their age.
"LUKE!..." Kendal glared at her younger son who was now back to teasing her, vanishing all her worries and replacing them with a smile.
