Apollo snapped out of his thoughts when Kendal called him from inside and it was then he realized his wife had already sensed his presence.
'Idiot how can you forget she can sense your perfect' scolding himself mentally he composed himself and forced a smile before entering the room.
He was expecting to see her smile back at him but the question she asked him with a straight face dropped his heart.
It had been so long since she smiled at him lovingly. After that hug, they shared that day, made him feel at ease. He thought finally everything was fine between them, but here she was back with her regular poker face.
