Sitting at the dining table, Drake kept glancing at Julianna who didn't say a word even after his long-awaited confession.
He was expecting to get lashed by her but when she didn't utter a word his heart sank. He was about to ask her to yell at him and express her displeasure when he sensed the arrival of the delivery man.
The conversation got interrupted and they had to leave the room without any proper conversation.
From that moment he had been waiting to get some kind of response from her end, but even after so long, Julianna kept silent and ate her food.
"Do you like the food?" he asked breaking the pin-drop silence between the two.
Julianna who was quiet the entire time paused for a moment before she bobbed her head.
She had been trying to act normal when deep inside she was nervous. The moment Drake opened up, she could feel the sincerity in his words.
