A conflicted emotion passed through her eyes as she watched Rick who seemed so determined with the words he said.
Julianna had been so confused with her thoughts that she couldn't feel anything when he confessed to her. Wasn't that he wasn't good-looking or smart at all, but the way she felt around Drake, that kind of safety didn't come from him.
There was something about him that stopped her from considering his words.
Heaving out a deep breath Julianna forced a smile and said, "The class will soon start. I think we should head upstairs"
She just wanted to escape the awkward situation and that is what she did, without waiting for his reply she turned and started walking ahead.
The moment she reached upstairs she heard a few students gossip.
"Did you hear, a new professor is going to replace Professor Lucian from this day on" she heard a girl speak.
"What?.. why," the other one asked.
