Ariana blinked her eyes a few times when she again heard him back," You can call me by my name, after all, I am only a few years older than you" he said.
Ariana was aware of Lucian's age who was only twenty-five. It was also one of the reasons why she slowly dropped her guard and tried to behave friendly. Somewhat sharing the same age group made her feel comfortable around him, but being her professor she found it disrespectful to call him by his name.

Lucian cocked his brow up at her words. Yes, he was her professor but he also wanted to be her friend. He wanted her to open up her thoughts and feeling in front of him, just like how she did with Julianna.
