Ariana noticed the change in Lucian's demeanor and she continued revealing the entire truth about what happened.
Lucian kissed her head and drew her into his embrace right away. Hearing about all that Ariana had to go through was shocking, but he was grateful that Alaric could get her out of that situation.
Lucian pulled back a little and kissed her lips. "I am glad you are safe and they did not get you back," he said.
"However, I do not believe Mason will remain silent. That man is manic, and would do anything to keep me by his side." Remembering how Mason had taken over her thoughts and forced him to act on his lies, Ariana shuddered.
Lucian's eyes grew gloomy and his hold on her became more firm.
"I won't let him do that," he said in between his gnashing teeth.
Ariana agreed and hugged him back.
Meanwhile, Apollo was shocked to see Alaric standing before him. His eyes couldn't believe he was finally seeing his friend after so long.
