Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: Reconciliation

"My dad used to mention about one of his friend that died in a plane crash. I never knew it was your dad Olivia." said Fred emotionally

"I missed him so much!" said Olivia sobbed, she was surprised to see his dad's picture outside their home

"I am sorry too Olivia." replied Fred gently and patted Olivia at the back softly

Mrs Smith entered the room unannounced and caught Fred and Olivia in a cosy manner

"What's happening here!" asked Mrs Smith stunned at the two kids

"Mom!" said Fred gently

"What's Olivia doing in your room?" asked Mrs Smith looking at Olivia eagerly

"I actually brought Olivia here to show her this picture." replied Fred, he handed the picture to his mother

"Ohh! this Mr Charles!" asked Mrs Smith surprised. She never knew Mr Charles was friend to her husband. She only met Mr Charles online through business proposal ever since then they had fallen in love with each other

"Yes, and that's Olivia's father, he was dad's friend too!" said Fred softly

"Really, Olivia?" asked Mrs Smith, she turned to Olivia

"Yes ma'am!" replied Olivia gently.

"I never knew though! Where did you get this picture from Fred?" asked Mrs Smith

"I got it from dad personal library." replied Fred

"Mr Charles explained to me about Olivia's father as his friend but I didn't really believe him due to incident that happened at the last party." said Mrs Smith unfortunately  "I'm sorry for everything Olivia. Please forgive me dear." said Mrs Smith finally

"It's fine ma!" replied Olivia politely

Mrs Smith hugged Olivia affectionately and Fred was pleased

At Olivia's house, Mr Charles was sitting down and was in deep conversation with grandma's

"Mr Charles, I really appreciate you for your kind gesture towards my family. We're very grateful!" said grandma gratefully

"It's nothing grandma! How's Olivia, I hope she's doing well in her academic?" asked Mr Charles concerned

"Yes, she has trying her best in studies I must admit." replied grandma cheerfully

"That's good news!" said Mr Charles pleased

"Mr Charles I wanted to ask, and if you don't mind." said grandma hesitated little

"Okay grandma."  replied Mr Charles

"When are you going to remarry. It's been long Mr Charles and I know your kids will like you to get married again." said Mrs bill concerned

"Oh, about that. I wanted to remarry again but I've not been accepted yet. I just found out my admirer is my late  friend's wife." replied Mr Charles sadly

"Ooh! I think you should just give her time to think about it." said grandma gently

"Yes that's my plan. Thanks grandma I will come check you another time. My regards to Olivia." Mr Charles got up from his seat and Mrs bill escorted him outside."

At Mrs Smith's house, Fred was sitting with his mother in the sitting room discussing together

"Mom, if you think Mr Charles is good for you. I don't mind you marrying him." said Fred softly

"Really?" Mrs Smith was surprised to heard that coming out from his son

"Yes, mommy!" replied Fred smiling

"You mean you don't mind me marrying again!" asked Mrs Smith again

"Yes, mother. I am happy mom and I want you to be happy!" said Fred

Mrs Smith hugged her son affectionately and Anita came inside at the moment

"Aww! What's going on here?" asked Anita jealous, she quickly sat between her mom and her brother

"Nothing baby girl!" replied Mrs Smith tenderly

"Really," said Anita unpleased

"Okay, Mom is getting married soon!" declared Fred cheerfully

"Whoa! That's good news." replied Anita

"Yeah!" said Mrs Smith smiled

"I am happy too," entered Ben smiling

"Ben!" shouted Anita

"Yes, sis."replied Ben

"Thanks my lovely kids. I am so glad you guys supported me." said Mrs Smith happily

"You're welcome mom!" They all hugged their mother tenderly

Fred visited their Cece's house and she found her sitting down outside comfortably

"Hi Cece!" said Fred

"Fred!" replied Cecelia, she was surprised to see Fred at her place without informing her.

Cecelia was putting on a short loose gown with sunglasses on her face

"How're you doing?" asked Fred, he noticed Cecelia had been avoiding him and she has stopped coming to school since the incident that happened between Gloria and Olivia

"I am fine. Anything?" asked Cecelia rudely.

"I've not been seeing you in school after the examinations. Hope you're good?" said Fred concerned

"I am good. As you can see!" replied Cecilia sipping her soft drinks gently

"Okay! Good to see you." said Fred not unoffended by her attitude

"Yeah, what bought you here?" asked Cecilia

"I came to check on you."replied Fred

"Really, I see."said Cecelia

"Yeah!" replied Fred

"If you came to beg me. I'm not going to listen to you."said Cecelia proudly

"Really were you not the one that is guilty here." replied Fred

"Uhmn!"said Cecelia

"Yes. You lied on Olivia and painted her blue and black in front of everyone. You make her to be seen as a bad person!" said Fred

"Oh are you here to lecture me?" asked Cece sarcastically

"No am just telling you now to change!" replied Fred gently

"Oh I see." said Cecelia

"Yeah I don't know you to be like this, Cecelia." said Fred tenderly and he looked at her.  "You were nice, friendly unlike now." said Fred softly

"You caused it Fred. You choose Olivia over me when you know I like you too." replied Cecilia angrily

"I only see you as my best friend, nothing more." said Fred softly

"I got you. I can't force you to love me. I will love the person that love me." said Cecelia emotionally. She remembers Henry and smiled inwardly

"Okay, will you come back to school?" asked Fred suddenly

"Yes I'll." replied Cecelia smiling, her countenance changed brightly

Fred was surprised the way her eyes brightened up all of a sudden

"That's good!" said Fred gladly

"As you can see I'm going out Fred." Cecilia got up and entered inside the house, leaving Fred standing outside

"Whoa! I guess she has stopped liking me. It's good anyway." said Fred inwardly, he walked out from their house.
