"Have you forgotten it was someone that planted the wrist watch inside my bag. What if another thing that's bigger than that happens again this time?" said Olivia unhappy
"I understand you Olly. Since the boy that covered up for you wasn't the one that planted it but that silly girl. The truth will prevail one day. The wicked will never go unpunished. I believe so don't you believe that?" asked grandma optimistic
"I believe granny, I know the wicked will be punished one day." replied Olivia definitely
"That's my girl. Hope you have changed your mind now?" asked grandma
"Yes, grandma. I think I will resume back." replied Olivia smiling face
"That's my girl." said grandma chuckled, she patted Olivia on her shoulder softly
Olivia left the sitting room to washed her clothes with her grandma. After some minutes Peter joined her at the backyard
"Olivia!" said Peter softly
"Peter!" replied Olivia happily at his presence
"What are you doing girl?" asked Peter cheerfully
"I'm washing some clothes, almost done now," replied Olivia
"Okay nice. You were saying something on phone yesterday!" said Peter suddenly
"Yes Peter, Fred's mother called yesterday, she begged me and said Fred confessed he was the one that planted the wrist watch inside my bag." said Olivia gently
"Really was it Fred or it's Cecelia?" asked Peter mouth wide opened
"Fred lied on himself and i know why he did that!" replied Olivia frankly
"Why would he lied on himself. Instead he would have exposed the culprit than lying." said Peter displeased
"Fred knew no one saw Cecilia when she planted the wrist watch inside my bag. So if he mentioned Cecilia name his mother won't believe him that's why he lied on himself. And I know the truth will prevail one day." said Olivia softly
"Uhmn now I understand. It's alright Olivia let's forget about them." said Peter
"And one more thing Peter, his mother begged me to resume back to their house." said Olivia gently
"Really!" asked Peter
"Yes." replied Olivia and she said "I think I should resume back there and let the culprit be put to shame." added Olivia bravely
"Uhmn. Okay Olivia. Just be careful when you get there." replied Peter concerned
"I will, thanks Peter!" said Olivia softly
"And I will miss you around again." said Peter tenderly
"I will miss you too but we will meet in school again!" said Olivia softly
Olivia had finished washing the clothes and Peter joined Olivia in the kitchen to helped her washed the plates.
Everyone was happy that Olivia was back to the house, most especially Anita and Fred they were excited to see her back in their house.
"My half sis is back I missed you!" grinned Anita and she hugged Olivia affectionately
"I missed you too! You have already grown up this few days Anita." said Olivia jokingly. "You didn't called me at all and I understand though." said Olivia gently
"I'm sorry Olivia!." replied Anita apologetic
"It's okay. Here we are again!" said Olivia happily
"Alright! This night no one is sleeping early today dear." chuckled Anita
"Really what's happening?" asked Olivia surprised
"We're going to watch my favorite movie tonight and it's because Olivia's back!" shouted Anita brightly
"Wow I can't wait to watch your movie." replied Olivia and the night falls
The following morning, Olivia was sitting with the Smith's family.
"Olivia am sorry once again." said Mrs Smith cheerfully
"It's okay ma'am!"replied Olivia politely
"Fred when are you going to make it up to Olivia?" asked Mrs Smith suddenly and everyone was surprised including Fred, he didn't know what his mother was talking about
"I'm helplessly mom, can you explain better?" said Fred helplessly
"Okay, I think you owe Olivia for your misconduct act, why don't you take Olivia out for saying sorry to her!" said his mother cheerfully
"Whoa whoa!" shouted Ben excited
"Will that be okay with you Olivia?" asked Mrs Smith smiling
"Y Yes m ma'am!" Olivia stuttered and was shocked for some seconds
"Okay mom!" Fred was happy with the plan. He thought to himself inwardly and said "I think that would make me ask her out again." Fred giggled inwardly
Fred took Olivia to an expensive restaurant and Olivia was thrilled with the food menu and prices
"The food here's expensive Fred. I mean it's very expensive." admitted Olivia surprisedly
"It's nothing Olivia. It's just one of my favorite restaurant." said Fred cheerfully
"You brought me to your favorite restaurant. Why?" asked Olivia bewildered
"I just like it." replied Fred happily
"Uhmn!" said Olivia amused
The waiter came inside and ordered their food
"Let's eat Olivia!" said Fred softly
"Okay, before we eat, there's something I'll like to ask you Fred!" replied Olivia gently
"Okay am all ears!" replied Fred
"Why did you lied Fred. I mean why did you say you were the one that planted the wrist watch inside my bag?" asked Olivia, looking at Fred intently
"Okay Olivia I will tell you the truth. I knew you were not the one that stole the wrist watch but Cecelia. And there's no how I will explain that to my mom that would make her believe me." admitted Fred innocently
"That made you a liar Fred. You shouldn't have lied for me, for I know the truth will prevail one day." said Olivia softly
"I know but I wanted you back to the house." said Fred in a serious tone
"Why?" asked Olivia surprised
"I missed you Olly. I missed everything about you and I can't stop thinking about you Olivia." replied Fred tenderly
"Uhmn, okay!" Olivia was short of words and she quickly turned her attention on the food.
"Can we eat now?" asked Fred softly after seeing her discomfort
"Yes let's eat!" replied Olivia salivating over the food.As they were busy eating their meals Fred broke the silence and said
"Olivia," said Fred gently
"Yes Fred!" replied Olivia looking at him perplexed
"I'm sorry Olivia that I didn't trust you enough can you please forgive me the way I acted towards you." said Fred apologetic
