"Isn't... Isn't this trait possessed by that character?"
I was surprised to see a familiar skill.
But before I could continue. I heard the door opening.
As I looked around, I saw a beautiful girl... Maybe in her twenties?
She was wearing the maid's outfit.
"Oh... Young master, you're up early."
She was surprised to see me awake so early.
I could not help but feel a familiarity with her, yet I couldn't remember her.
Observing her closely, I remembered an extra named Elisha, who was a maid of Zephyr.
She appeared in one of the chapters, only to be killed by Kaesar while she protected Zephyr from him.
She was one of the people who never left Zephyr and was always by his side till the end.
And the reason why she didn't leave Zephyr was because his mother saved Elisha when she was young.
Elisha was also quite skilled as she reached the Aura Warrior Realm when she was only twenty-eight.
"Did something happen young master?"
Sensing my gaze, she asked me while still cleaning the room.
"Umm... nothing."
I replied as I stood up from the soft bed.
I looked around, searching for a mirror.
As I moved, I could feel this body's fragility, as if any wrong step might lead to its collapse.
Even taking steps was quite a difficult task for this body.
Slowly but surely I eventually reached the mirror.
As I inspected myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but feel a mix of surprise and fascination.
The reflection staring back at me was undeniably Zephyr, the character from [The Rise of the Crazy One] but he looked remarkably different from what I thought.
I pinched my pale cheeks to see if it was really me or the 'Zephyr' me. As even in the novel it wasn't described that Zephyr was this good-looking.
There was no doubt that the image in the mirror was me as it shifted as I moved.
'Guess the S rank charm trait wasn't just for show.'
I have to say, the reflection in the mirror was damn impressive.
How can a simple white hair that's untidy look so damn stylish?
And those crimson-red eyes, that could take the soul away of any woman that came in contact with.
But again, looking at the body which was all bones. I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed.
In the novel, Zephyr was described as having a weak and sickly body, and it seemed that my new existence as him had stayed true to that description.
Sigh-!
I sighed, realizing that I couldn't do much about my physical appearance at the moment.
Instead, I focused on the fact that I now possessed the "Observer" trait—a powerful passive skill that enhanced my observation and perception abilities.
As Elisha continued to clean the room, I decided to use the 〈Observer〉 trait and test its effects.
I concentrated, feeling a surge of energy as my senses heightened.
The room's details became clearer, and I could see the tiny specks of dust floating in the air.
I heard the faint sounds of footsteps from a distance, likely from other maids in the mansion.
The skill seemed to work as described—allowing me to notice even the smallest of details that might be overlooked by others.
It was as if the world around me had come into sharper focus.
But what intrigued me the most was the additional effect of the 〈Observer〉 trait—its ability to bypass any illusion.
This could prove to be incredibly valuable, especially in a world where magic and deception were prevalent.
I decided to test this aspect as well. I focused on the mirror in front of me, attempting to discern any illusions or magical manipulations.
Surprisingly, I detected a faint magical aura surrounding the mirror, indicating the presence of some form of illusion.
With a mental effort, I dispelled the illusion, revealing the true appearance of the mirror.
It was a simple, ornate design, devoid of any magical trickery.
A smile crept onto my face as I realized the potential of this trait.
With the ability to see through illusions, I could avoid traps, uncover hidden paths, and outsmart opponents who relied on deception.
However, I had to be cautious in using this skill, as it consumed 10 MP for every minute it was activated.
As Alisha continued her work, I decided to deactivate the 〈Observer〉 trait for now.
I turned to Alisha, who had finished tidying up the room.
"Elisha, can you tell me what date and time it is and also about the situation of the empire and the family."
I asked, hoping to gather as much information as possible about my new surroundings as the novel didn't specify about it in detail.
"Huh...?"
"Young master, are you really okay?"
Elisha placed her hands on my forehead trying to check if I had a fever.
"It doesn't feel like you have a fever, then why are you acting so strangely?"
"I. Am. Fine. Elisha."
I replied, but I guess her worridness is obvious as in the past Zephyr was always depressed and didn't have the time or wasn't interested in political affairs.
For him, the only thing important was his girlfriend.
But now was different as I was the owner of this body now.
After some reassurance, she told me the time and date.
"Sigh~ it's too late."
I sighed, as I was already framed and dumped by Ai.
It would have been better if I reincarnated a year or two in the past.
'My fate coins.'
I took a deep sigh, I could have made a fortune,
Aaaan~
'Let's not be depressed, there are a lot of events where I can make a fortune.'
"Ahem! Could you tell me about the affairs of—Bang!"
The door of my room flung open and standing at the other side was a boy around eighteen years old.
Observing him, I immediately knew who he was—Ron Orion Caesar, the third son of Vincent Orion Caesar, the head of the Caesar family.
He was someone who acted weak against the strong and strong against the weak.
He would always beat up Zephyr whenever he was angry.
And looking at his expression now, I could tell he was mad.
"Oh~ my sweet little brother. Your big brother hasn't visited you in a long time."
"As a form apology, let me give you a little gift."
He said, as his lips curled up forming a smug. He raised his sword.
But before he could do anything, Elisha stepped in.
"You master ron, please stop, Master Zephyr's health is getting worse and if you beat—"
Slap-!
"How dare a lowly servant stop his master."
Ron slapped Elisha forcefully as she tried to protect me.
I felt a surge of frustration and anger.
But these feelings weren't mine, the feeling of anger and fury were coming from this body.
I (this body) wanted to protect Elisha, yet my body wouldn't move.
This body I inhabited was weak, and it trembled in the face of Ron's aggression.
'Calm down, now's not the time to meddle in between.'
I tried to calm myself down as even if I did interfere, I would only be beaten up by him as he should already be at Aura Desciple.
Ron sneered, enjoying his show of dominance. "Know your place, servant. Don't you dare interfere in the matters of the Caesar family."
As he raised his sword again, I felt a surge of anger and frustration building up inside me.
'Elisha would not be harmed anyways."
I tried to reassure this body. Elisha had already reached Aura Warrior and should not be hurt by his attacks.
But as Elisha's eyes met mine briefly, and at that moment, I saw something different in her gaze.
It was a mixture of concern and reassurance, as if she wanted to convey that she would handle the situation, that I didn't need to worry.
"You insolent maid! I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget."
Bamn-!
I landed a punch on Ron's face.
It was not like I was kind or something but I just could not watch someone who was trying to protect me, get hurt.
"This little bitch!"
I surely thought, my punch would at least be a little but effective against Ron but my frustration only deepened at the realization that Zephyr's body was indeed as weak as described in the novel.
"This fucking shit of a body!"
