"Yeah who is he anyway?" Lucifer asked the same question making Kai's lips twitch.
'This old man! Won't you let me finish?!' Kai thought exasperated, but he still answered anyway so Lucifer would stop interrupting him.
"Well, it's one of the dragon ancients that existed long before the dragons became extinct... And it's a 'She'."
"Really? No wonder she sympathized with your mom"
Kai just rolled his eyes. It was way more than that. The enemy of your enemy was your friend, so it was normal for the dragon to help his mom since they both had a common enemy... But there was still a possibility of that too.
"What are the ancients anyway?" Lucifer asked delaying him further.
Kai sighed. He wasn't sure if it was okay to disclose such information but proceeded with it anyway since they were allies... At least he hoped so.
'Well they'll eventually know anyway' he thought and proceeded to explain.
"They are Dragons that hold utmost highness among the dragon tribe. And they were called ancients because they were born from the perfect natural counters for the god's overbearing power, that is, every ancient is assigned to every god. They are also quite easy to identify as they have orb shaped globes for irises, filled to the brim with the power of that counter."
"So... For illuminous... It is the water God it was assigned to?" He asked, remembering the descriptions Kai gave to the creature.
"No... It was the earth goddess... 'Gaia' that she was counter to. It seemed like a water dragon because the earth is composed mostly of water and umm... Probably what it chose it to be."
Lucifer nodded even though he wasn't so clear on the gods counter stuff.
"Then who is the counter of the heavens then?" Lucifer asked suddenly, making Kai flinch.
Kai turned his head to Lucifer and looked at him for minutes with a gaze that felt strange and answered with a monotonous voice that caused chills.
"Hades"
Lucifer's brows jumped up, which was extremely rare to show how surprised he was. So the twins father was... Now things made even more sense.
"No more questions" Kai warned in a monotonous voice that caused the air to become chilly when he noticed his grandpa inlaw was about to ask another question and continued his tale.

~hmmmmm.
Celine sighed in satisfaction as she ate the last bowl of food. To her surprise, the dragon couldn't only make water but food... also...out of nothingness. She grew comfortable in the dragon's presence as it also descended from wherever it was perched on and stayed on ground level, its eyes were still high though because of the dragon's height but reduced the stress on her neck nonetheless from looking at it.
They both enjoyed each other's company as a few stray bolts landed here and there creating a domineering background but was still beautiful nonetheless.
Celine had recovered from the surprise of the death of 'nemesis' as she caressed her tummy lovingly. Once in a while her babies will kick now and then making her break into a breathtaking smile. The dragon also growled softly once that happened in amusement. It seemed it's food also had that healing property as her babies were even more healthy than they were putting her in a good mood.
"So... Err... Illuminous, those alters, do they contain 'nemesis' powers?"
Illuminous eyes moved to the alters that were standing perfectly still and sent a thought to her mind.
"They'll kill your offspring... The power is harmful to them"
Celine nodded in understanding. Why didn't she even reason that. She was bearing the children of the heaven's counter, anything belonging to them will surely harm her children.
"Your offspring will find it hard to survive" the dragon continued, making Celine tilt her head.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"Aren't those Hades children?" The dragon asked, it's eyes staring at her belly to see if she was mistaken, but those words had caused a different reaction in Celine.
"Y-you... How do you know Hades?!" Celine asked alert and surprised at the same time, most people that knew her love were mostly out for his head.
The beast chuckled, making the whole temple vibrate in it's bestial noise that crumbled the barely intact structures of the temple.
Celine just stared at it and brought her hand close to her dagger, the way this dragon had a lot of information about her was suspicious.
"Fear not, demon. Hades is a friend. I only care about the wellbeing of his sons." The dragon answered and broke into another fit of laughter raising it's head to the sky with joy filled eyes.
'Sons...' Celine repeated in her mind.
"Umm... So where is he?" Celine asked when she confirmed the dragon wasn't a foe. Since they were close, the dragon probably knew the whereabouts of her lover, but was disappointed when the dragon stopped laughing and directed it's eyes to her in confusion. It didn't know too.
Celine just sighed. But a thought came to her mind and made her ask.
"So, you mean that because Hades is my babies father they'll become target for the gods anger?" She asked to confirm what illuminous meant when he said her babies would find it hard to survive.
The dragon just grunted. That was a price they'll have to pay. It was a miracle she didn't even have any miscarriage, even though she was close to loosing her babies when she entered the temple. But still, Hades was really something for him to not be beside his wife when he knew they'll be target to the gods.
Celine stared at the dragon eyes blankly first, her brain failed to register any thoughts.
"So, even after they are born and grown up the gods would still target them? I mean they might just live a simple life, not even interfering in the world's matters, even then they'll still have to bear such burden?"
The dragon just stared at her silently and sent a vague whisper to her mind.
"All offspring of Hades will be Hades in the gods eyes"
