Chapter-89: Finding the killer.
All officers and James reached the spot and there, they saw a dead body lying on the stage and one knife was stuck on his stomach and all people were standing near that stage. They all were walking towards the stage and both the forensic doctors were also there with their equipment box and they wore their gloves on their hands and stepped up on the stage. People who were standing around the dead body, officers ask them all to step back and both the doctors check the dead body.
George ordered his Officers to go check the auditorium and ask questions to all the people who were there and he also said to check if someone was leaving the auditorium. All officers start their work and George sees Albert. Albert was checking the body and he saw the knife.
… George- "I think due to this knife, he died."
Albert- " I think so."
James was also there on the stage and he was checking the stage. He realized that the stage is set up like a room of a house and there were sofas for sitting and he also saw a cabinet and there were a number of alcohol bottles over the cabinet. … He checked the bottles one by one and he found that one bottle was open and it was on the table. It was open and he thought he should smell it and take it close to his nose. Suddenly, Amanda saw him and stopped him.
"James no!!"
She quickly takes that bottle on her hand and warns him to smell, it may be dangerous.
James stepped back and meanwhile all the officers came back and stood in front of George.
Mark- "sir… I had checked everything and I did not find anything suspicious."
Lana- "sir, I had talked to the security incharge and she was having footage of the day and thought that we could see how many people had come here and gone."
Duke- "sir we had talked to all people and they did not know anything but sir… he is the manager of this act."
The manager stood in front and he told that the act was going on and everything was going well but suddenly, when the actor attacked him, he died. … George was thinking what he just said and James said why don't they repeat the act. That was a good idea.
Albert had called an ambulance for the dead body and the act started. The manager played the role of husband and there was another actress who used to be a wife and they were going to shout at each other. Officers were watching the act and the act was going on. The manager who acts as husband. He was having a bottle of alcohol which was holding by Amanda and he was drinking also while the act was going on. Suddenly, the wife of that husband took a knife from his hand and hit him on his stomach. Suddenly, the manager fell down and it was like he was not acting.
All the officers ran towards the manager and meanwhile an ambulance came there and George told everyone that the manager needed help and they took him to the hospital. Amanda was with him and the manager was trying to breathe but he couldn't. He was struggling for breathing and he was also trying to say something but he was uttering. His hand started shaking and his whole body started sweating and suddenly, he died.
[Shocked]
She can't believe what just happened and she quickly informs Albert and he asks her to take the dead body to the forensic lab.
It was about to be morning and all the officers were in the forensic lab and they all looked tired. Hank was yawning and Duke showed him his angry face and told him to go out and come back after sometime. But he won't go and George asks what's going on and they both stand silently.
Amanda was checking all the bottles which they had brought from the stage and she was trying to find if something was strange in those bottles or not but she did not find them and at last, she tested the bottle which was opened and it was touched by James.
[Testing]
She took a small amount as the sample and added some chemicals and finally she found it. She shouted and told everyone that she found it.
George- "great. What is it?"
Amanda- "this bottle contains juice but it also contains poison."
Meanwhile, George asked from Albert about what he found and he told them that he is still trying to find the cause of death because he also drank that poison juice and he also got attacked with that knife so it is very hard to find the real cause of death.
George- "ok. Inform us when you will find it."
In the office, Lana and Ashely both were interrogating the female actress who used to attack him with the knife and he died. Both the officers were asking questions to the actress and she kept repeating her answer that she does not know.
"Shut up. Do we look good to you? You were there and attacked him with the knife and he died." Said by Ashley.
But the actress started crying and Lana told her that they won't leave her until she tells them the reason behind the death.
Meanwhile, other team members came there and George called both the officers from the interrogation room and they came in front of George.
Lana- "she kept repeating her answer that she does not know but we think that she is lying."
… George wasn't able to think what he had to say and he asked James what to say and James said that first they have to meet the real wife of those two females and tell them what had happened with their husbands.
Tomorrow morning, they are going to inform their families and Albert was still checking the dead body. He tore the stomach of the dead man and he took all the eaten product out from his stomach and tasted it.
He also had taken out the knife from his body and Amanda was checking the knife. She found that the knife seemed to be different and it was normally used in kitchen work.
"Sir!! Normal in the act, actors use to take fake knife for role play but they had use the real one and why?" [Thinking]
She was right.
Albert was checking the eaten food items and he found that the poison was there in the stomach. "Hmm." [Deep thinking]
He told Amanda that this man died with poison and if somehow, this poison failed then the man would die with the knife. Now, it was clear that there are two killers who wanted to kill that man and the manager died due to poisonous juice.
Albert quickly called George and told him everything. When George heard that there are two people who want to kill that man, he was shocked and thanked him for the news. He told all officers to go back to the auditorium and find the details of the knife which was used in the act. Ananda was also going towards the auditorium. In the auditorium, other officers were also there and they all were there because they were ordered by George to stay there and now allowed to go back to their house.
Finally, they reached there and Duke stepped out from the car and saw another car and Amanda came out from the car.
"Hey!! I think you care about me, that's why you are here to help us."
"Duke… we are at work. Shut up and let's go."
They all went inside and all the people who were there, they all argued with them and requested them to let them go but James couldn't do that and they all had to stay there until they found the killer. Officers ask everyone to gather at one place and they also make sure that no one should be left behind. Amanda wants to show them the knife and give the details of the knife and she asked that normally people use fake knife in role play but they had to use the real one and why? She wants an answer but no one is opening their mouth and Duke asks them about the one whose duty is to bring all materials on the stage.
They point their finger towards a man whose duty is to take care of all materials which are used in a role. That man was a skinny man and he tried to run from there but Mark grabbed him and asked him why he was running away from them.
[Angry]
He was very angry at him and told him that he should not do that and he took him in front of James and he asked him why he ran.
[Staring at him]
James was staring at him and that man told him that someone had given money to him for doing that. "Who??"
"Sir!! I don't know. She had covered her face."
[Shocked]
Duke- "she? What do you mean?"
That man told her through her voice, it was a girl.
James- "the killer is none other than a female."
