Chapter-80: A bait.
James spent his whole night thinking about Storm and trying to find the way through which they could grab him but now it was morning and all the officers were in their seats and they had written everything which they had about Storm. James was driving his car towards the office and GK was also along with him. He was staring at James because he spent his whole night while thinking about Storm but he did not get anything in his brain.
[At office]
They both entered and took their seats but when James saw the board, he stopped and stared at the board. He slowly walked towards the board and stood straight. All others were looking at him and trying to figure out what he was doing? … Meanwhile, George also came there and James does not know about that. When George saw James he was surprised and asked everyone what happened to him, why was he standing there? All the officers had no answer and GK stepped forward and asked him what are you doing?
When James turned back, he was surprised to see the chief and stand straight.
"Sir!!"
"Did you find anything in the details?"
It was like James had found something and he wanted to share that information to everyone and he shook his head up and down.
"What??"
James told everyone that they had the details of the cars which he bought but we couldn't find it because he may have destroyed it. He also told them that if they had to find him then they had to use the image.
… [Thinking]
Everyone knew that and James did not say anything new about it. George asked him that they knew about that but the question was… how would they do that?
James- "a bait." [Surprised]
Everyone got surprised when he said that and they all started looking at each other because what he just said, they weren't able to understand and Duke told everyone that James had something in his mind. James looked at him and smiled, like he understood what he wanted to say.
James- "we will use it to make a bait for Storm. We will spread the news that he is someone's brother and he ran away from the house, so if someone saw him then they should inform them."
… Everyone was moving their heads up and down and showing him that they all like the trick which he wanted to use but there was a small problem and the problem was a person whom they will contact and the person whose brother he is?
GK- "why don't we make her brother?"
James- "who?"
GK- "ab… her!!"
James was about to say something to him but George stopped him and told everyone to start working on their trick because he also likes that and when he went to his cabin, James was crushing his teeth and make his eyes big on GK.
After some time, they had set up everything and spread news all over the city through posters. One man was walking on the road and a person gave him a poster of Storm and when that man read it, both his eyes became big because he knew where Storm was. Without showing any reaction, that man went from there with that poster and disappeared in the crowd. People who were spreading those posters were all officers who were acting like normal people. That man went to a dark place where garbage was all over and he knocked at the door.
Knock
Knock
Door seems to be made up of iron and something was written on the door. Two men opened the door and he entered inside. Through the staircase, he went down and he saw many big machines and they all were operated by some people and they all were wearing masks on their faces. Hanging lights were at the top and many boxes were there and some people were putting bundles of fake currencies in the box. That man walked towards the Storm and he was sitting over a table and looking at everyone. That man handed over that poster and when Strom saw that, he stepped down from the table.
"Oh!! He is using his tricks on me… ok. Now I will show him what I can do."
He ordered one of his people and told him to make a call and inform police about him and he also told him about the place where they will find him.
In the office George and James both were talking about the trick. George wants to know if they failed but James assured him that he will not fail so there is no need for fear.
"Hmm. I think so."
Time was running and all officers were waiting for the call. Call us to come but they all were for some other work. They all were still waiting for the call and now it was night officers were still waiting for the call. Ashley was stretching her body and stood up from her seat and asked if someone needed coffee. All officers raise their hands.
… "Ok!!" [Drinking coffee]
GK told James that they had made a wrong decision and he also told them that there is no need to wait. And now, even George also thinks that they all need to stop over there but James forced him to wait for some time. Maybe, someone will call them.
George had no other way so he agreed. Suddenly, their office phone started ringing and all the officers were looking at the phone. Hank took the call and found that someone had seen him in an amusement park.
"Thank you for the call."
Hank had a smile on his face and it was clear that they had found him where he was but they didn't know that Storm had also set up a bait for them.
The person who made the call used to work with Storm and he had asked his man to make a call.
Officers were running towards their cars and driving their cars towards the amusement park. While driving, they took their cars from shop sides and over their Jane was sitting on the road side and she was having a burger on her hand and she was eating it.
[Police siren]
She heard that siren and saw three cars were crossing her and on the last car, James was sitting and he also saw her. He kept staring at her and she smiled at him… he wanted to stop his car but he couldn't because he had work to do and all cars passed her at a high speed.
Meanwhile, her friends came out and asked her what happened because they heard a police siren sound. She moved her head left and right and kept eating her burger.
At an amusement park.
All officers stopped their cars and ran inside. They saw the security guard was sleeping in his cabin and GK knocked at the door but he kept sleeping. George asks everyone to leave him and spread around in search of Storm. All officers start searching. In the park, there were many big size swings and a giant wheel having a hanging cabin where people can sit. All parks were shining with lights and all officers were moving around that park but they did not find anyone over there. All officers were connected with each other through calls and James was also looking around.
He checked each and every cabin of the swings and he was still searching around. While searching suddenly, he slipped and fell down on the ground.
"Aw!!"
Lana- "what happened??"
James- "I just fell down… but I am fine."
He stood on his feet and cleaned his clothes and saw a dog… It seems that the dog belongs to the park because he was wearing the park's belt.
But it was strange… James thought that the dog must be awakened but the dog was sleeping and he thought that he should go and check him.
"Hey!! Boy!!"
All officers were listening to his voice and asking him what he was doing but James was trying to awaken the dog but he was still sleeping and he touched his body so that he can find if he is sick but he did not feel his heartbeat.
[Shocked]
He got shocked and recognized his face… his tongue was out from his mouth and looked around.
Suddenly, he remembered the time when he parked their cars… he remembered that While parking their cars… that time there were few cars and the windows of those cars were black in color. When they entered, they knocked at the door of a guard who was sleeping but he did not wake up. His breathing started increasing and he also remembered the time when they all were moving around that park and checking all the cabins of all swings… there was no one. He knew that on each and every slide or swing there was a guard but there was no one.
It was late at night and the lights of the park were on. Slowly- slowly, he started realizing that they all were falling in a trap and they did not know about that.
[Pressing lips inside]
