Chapter-72: The killer in the office.
Officers were waiting for the disc but some of them thought that no one was going to send a disc to their office because they had taken all the cameras from that place. Duke told everyone that they all are wasting their time and they should go to the lab so that they could find if Amanda found something. Albert also went to the lab for some work and George thought that they had to go and they went to the lab. When they all were leaving, at the entrance door an officer was coming inside from that door and he bent his head down and touched his cap. Other officers thought that he was showing his respect to them and they also did like that and left the building.
That officer was walking upstairs towards the main office and that was FORCE team members office. There was no one in the office and that officer went inside and looked around.
[Evil smile]
He took out a small disc from the pocket and left it on the table and he also covered it with a book. After that he left the office and walked out from the building like he never came there.
[Taking long breath]
He took a car and went from there. He removed his cloth and threw it out of the car. He had sharp eyes and short hair… he looked like a smart boy.
[Driving car]
In the forensic lab.
All officers were standing in front of the dead body and Amanda told everyone about the killer. She told them that the killer used a sharp knife to kill.
[Unhappy face]
George told her that they knew that… They want to hear something new. She told them that she was telling them and she bought a knife in the lab and she showed it to them.
"This kind of knife… mainly these kinds of knife used in kitchen work and killers use this."
Hank- "he or she is a cook?"
George- "shut up."
She also said that she found a white powder from the handle of the knife and it was the traces of paint.
After having some more discussion, they were leaving but Albert stopped them and called them all in front of him. He told them that he had checked everything and he had made a report on all those items which they had found from vans.
James- "what is that?"
Albert placed one tablet on the table and he also put one currency note on the table. Officers wondered what he wanted to show them and he told them that the tablet is a new type of drug which is very strong and if someone eats that then he will lose his mind for a whole day.
[Shock]
Everyone was shocked and somehow, they all controlled themselves and George asked about the currency which they had found from the van. Albert told them that all currency is fake…
[Surprised]
He also told them that for a second he thought that it was real but he was wrong and after checking it, he found that all the currencies were fake. After this they were leaving but he stopped them again and told them in his serious voice that the case which is going on, they can solve it but the problem which is going on… that is too dangerous… they all have to stay alert.
They all came back to the office and George was walking towards his cabin but suddenly, James stopped and all the officers stopped and asked him what happened.
… "The book on the table."
Officers look at the book and find a disc and Duke quickly checks it and plays it. That disc contains the footage of the park when all officers were there and the angle of recording was from the top.
Duke- "top angle view? What was there?"
[Thinking]
George was asking questions to everyone about the cameras because they had taken all cameras from that place then from where he recorded everything. In anger George threw the chair on the side because he was very angry. One killer came into their office and they did not know about that.
He was frustrated and angry also, without wasting time he quickly arranged a meeting and, in that meeting, he had called all officers of the building and he shouted at them in a very loud and angry voice. "One killer came into our office and you all weren't able to see him. Have you all lost your minds."
One officer from the group told him that he might have come there in uniform and due to that they weren't able to stop him or recognize him. George realized that he was right and he ordered them to check the recording as soon as possible.
James was also thinking like all other officers about the recording angle but nothing was coming inside their mind. James took pictures of that place and saw it carefully. He was thinking about the angle of recording and accidentally he saw a picture of a statue.
[Thinking]
"Sir!! I think we have to go back to that park again."
George- "what?" [Surprised]
In the park.
Park was closed and yellow tape was around that park. When they reached there, they found that there was no statue in the park.
George- "damn!!"
Officers found the angle of recording and they kicked on the ground because the killer was there in front of their eyes but they weren't able to see it. They all were blaming themselves for their poor work but James was sitting on the bench silently and looking around.
Mark- "look at him… we all are frustrated and he was sitting over there. Hey!!"
George was also looking at him and he found that he was searching for some and James stood up from the bench like he saw something.
George went close to him and asked him what happened to him. James points his finger towards road cameras which are also known as security cameras.
"We have to check all the cameras and I think… they had recorded something for us."
They went to the department who used to control these cameras and record everything. In that place, there were many computers and on each computer was an officer and they were watching everything. James stops one officer and asks about the control section of that place and that officer shows them that place. That place had many computer screens and some big screens were fixed on the wall. That room was like a supercomputer.
The head of that place came there and George talked to him. After some time, the head of that place, who was looking like a fat man, showed them the recording of that night. They saw that the statue started moving and went from that place. They also saw the recording of that time when that man was killed by the killer and that man was taking support of that rectangular base and when he started walking again that time he was killed. When all officers were watching that footage, they all were surprised and blamed themselves for their work which they had shown over there.
[Anger]
George- "sir… we need footage of that day. Can you…"
He gave the footage of that day and all officers went from there. While driving George told his officers to find that car in which he took from the park.
They all came back to the office and went to the recording section of the building. Over there they saw that the killer came over there when they all were leaving and that time that killer hide his face with his cap.
[Groaning in anger]
James was very angry and other officers too. They did not believe their eyes. One killer came into their office and left a disc there.
George- "James, I want to get that car and this man also."
[ Angry voice]
George gives the footage of that place and he asks them to keep it in their database. In anger, George left the room and went towards his office. They all stayed there and their heads were down.
James was crushing his teeth and he told everyone to find the car in which that killer took.
At night.
Everyone had left the building and James was also going towards his house and when he was going that time, he saw a car was following him. He did not know about that but when he found it… he stopped his car on the roadside and waited for it. He wanted to check it but that car passed him and James thought that it was just a car but he did not know that inside that car, Harvey was sitting and Storm was driving the car. Harvey was laughing inside the car and told Storm that James is really smart because in a few seconds, he found that someone was behind him and to confirm it, he stopped his car on the side. [Laughing]
Storm wants to know the reason and he asks him why he was laughing and Harvey told him that James is very smart… he is following us…. Storm looked back and James was behind him…
"Now what?"
"Back to the factory."
