Chapter-67: Arresting James.
James came back to the office and asked him where he was… all officers were looking around him but James told them that he went out for a walk. Meanwhile Ashely noticed something on his chest and when James was walking towards his chair that time, she stopped him and asked him whether he was out for a walk or went out to meet someone.
[Confused]
All the officers were confused and wanted to know why she was saying this. She went close and smiled. … She had noticed a hair on his cloth and she took that hair from his cloth. James was surprised and he didn't know where it came from. Even George was also in shock and he took that hair on his hand and checked it.
The length of the hair was very long and black in color.
George- "hair of a girl… hmm!!"
James suddenly said everything that he does not know anything about but he will find it. He took that hair and put it inside an evidence bag but GK was standing with other officers. Duke, Hank and Mark three of them were standing there in a group and GK told everyone that their friend had found someone.
Duke- "I don't think so!!"
At night.
GK was laying on his bed and he was holding that bag with hair on his hand. James was cooking food. [Cooking food]
James had cooked food and he called GK for help. He came into the kitchen and took all the food on the table. But James saw that bag in his hand and he quickly snatched it from his hand.
"What?? Why did you do that??"
"Stay away from this."
Both were eating food but GK asked him about the hair and he asked this question to tease him but James showed him his big and angry eyes.
[Pressing his both the lips inside]
"Ok!! Don't shout."
But GK was still laughing from inside and he will ask this question again because he loves to tease him.
Sleeping time.
GK had prepared his bed and James also… James also came there and both fell down on their bed but before they slept GK thought that he should ask one more time about that hair and he asked it but this time James threw one pillow on his face and told him to let him sleep.
[Giggling sound]
GK was still laughing at him but he was controlling his laugh and James again threw one more pillow on his back and GK got silent. After some time GK went to a deep sleep but James was still awake. He slowly turned his head to his left and that hair was on the table.
[Talking to himself]
"When I was walking… that time… I think I got collided with someone but with whom?"
Same question was roaming in someone's mind also and she was none other than that girl who got collided with James and she was also awake. She used to live in a small room and that room contains everything… The room was small, containing one bed, table, cooking items, a small water drum full of drinking water and one almirah. There was also a door and it was a restroom. She was laying on her bed and thinking about James and she was also talking to herself.
"He was strong… and due to him, my boss cut my one-day salary. Tomorrow if I find him then I will show him who I am."
She was angry and closed her eyes and went to a deep sleep.
Next day.
James and GK both were coming towards their office and GK had a call, it was Duke and he told both of them to come fast because they had another disc in their office and they also needed to see that disc for Duke was calling both of them.
[Wireless message]
"Officers… there was a small accident in 28$ street… officers who are close to that area please respond." GK responded and asked James to drive his car towards the accident area.
Some officers were already there and they were clearly in the traffic, towing cars were also there and they were waiting for the call. While looking around, they saw that two cars collided with each other. Front section of the cars collided and GK stepped forward and handled the situation. Jane was also there, and on that road outside a shop where she used to work. She was also looking around and she saw James, he was talking to someone on the phone.
[Angry]
"Now I will not leave you!!"
She looked around and saw GK. He was talking to all the officers and the officers were listening to him. She thought that he was the senior officer and through his help, she would teach a lesson to him.
GK was talking to all the officers and she stood on his back and said sir in a soft voice. When GK heard that voice he felt like someone had melted honey in his ears.
[In a soft voice]
"Yes!!"
He turned back and saw a beautiful lady was standing and her skin was shining in the sun. Her small but beautiful eyes melted GK and asked him what he could do for her. She told everything that happened yesterday and GK got pumped up. He thought that he would arrest that man and through that he would make a small space in her heart.
"Yes, I will help you… tell me who he is?"
Jane also thought that now she was going to arrest that man.
Jane- "That idiot man is here sir"
GK- "where?"
Jane- "you have to arrest him."
GK- "yes!!"
Jane- "behind you… arrest him!!"
GK turned back and ordered all officers to arrest him but when he saw that behind him James was standing and he was talking on his phone… he got surprised and shouted.
[Shouting]
James got shocked and cut his call and quickly ran towards him and asked him what happened. GK was in shock and he was moving his hand left and right, he was also moving his mouth but saying nothing. James- "speak up??"
GK was surprised and he told him that she said that she got hurt due to James… and she had a complaint against him.
[Wondering]
James asks him who told him about that and he points his finger towards Jane. Jane was shocked and her face became red due to nervousness. She was rubbing her hand and showing her teeth to James.
She realized that now, she is going to get arrested and before he arrested her, she quickly said sorry and explained everything to him. But James was staring at her only and after she finished her explanation, she quickly ran away from there. … Officers were confused and tried to understand what just happened. GK looked at James and found that he was smiling and his eyes were staring at her. Jane ran towards her shop and went inside.
… GK- "should we go… or you will stay here."
James got surprised and looked around… traffic was cleared and the road was open for all cars. He quickly ran towards his car and went to their office.
They played the disc and everyone was watching the disc. While watching, they all were shocked because that disc contained the footage of them when they all were there in the library. All officers were in shock and Lana told everyone that the footage contains all the details of that time when they all were in the library. George was sitting on the chair and the rest of the officers were standing behind him. When he saw that he crushed his teeth.
"Dam it!! The killer had recorded everything… we all have to feel ashamed of ourselves."
George was angry on that disc and themselves also because he wasn't able to digest that footage. At the end of the footage there was the same message which was written on the first footage.
[George Groaning]
George went to the lab along with James without any other officers, he ordered everyone to stay there and check that footage.
Jane was biting her nails in the shop and telling all her other friends who used to work over there. When they all heard that she collided with an officer and she tried to arrest him through someone's help. They all laughed loudly at her and told her that she should stay away from him because if he saw her again then he would be going to arrest her.
[Thinking]
She starts thinking about him and she also realized that he can do this because he is an officer and she doesn't know who the big officers are.
Forensic lab. Through George's expression, Albert found that he was not in a good condition and Albert was also looking sad and Amanda was sitting on her chair and scratching her head.
George- "what??"
Albert- "we had nothing to say because weapon and wound are the same."
Crushing teeth in the mouth, George went from there but James kept standing there and he had a small smile on his face.
… George- "James!!"
[Shouted]
James- "coming sir!!"
After he ran from there, both the doctors were thinking about James.
Albert- "Amanda!! Why was he smiling?"
