Chapter-14: Accidentally death.
James was checking all those things which he had brought from the headquarters but the question was still roaming inside his mind. GK was looking at him. … He knew that the case had given them a lot of stress but now they have to close the case but how?
[Laughing sound]
Albert and Amanda both came there with huge laughter. He was clapping for himself and calling all officers in front of him.
GK and James also stood in front of him and they thought that he had lost his brain. James looks at Amanda and asks her what happened to him? Why is he laughing loudly? She made a weird face and told him she does not know anything. … Albert was still laughing. Fred came forward and told Tim that they have to find someone else who will run the forensic lab. Connor came forward and tried to stop him.
Connor- "Sir… stop. Ok. What happened?"
Albert- "Connor, the case is solved."
Suddenly, GK started laughing at him. James asks him to stop.
"I am serious." Said by Albert.
He asks Amanda to bring all those cameras and human doll. They don't know what is going on. Meanwhile, some people came there with a dead body. They put that dead body on the ground and Albert put one gun in his hand. … Officers were still trying to find out what was going on. GK was confused and scratching his head.
"What's going on?"
Now, James had to ask what he wanted to do.
"Sir!! I was…"
"Wait… I will."
He set up some cameras and asked everyone to listen to him. He was trying to explain what happened in that house that day.
"Officers, that day Joseph came into that house and he had a small fight in that place. While fighting, Joseph shot Will and after that he got scared. He put his gun in his hand and tried to find the file so he could burn it."
That was a good prediction and anyone can believe in that prediction but the question was still roaming around and the question was who killed him.
"Sir… then who killed him?"
This question was scratching their heads. To know the answer, they still have to wait for some time. Amanda- "The killer is Will."
They all got shocked and GK laughed loudly because it was a joke. Will was already dead then he can't kill him but Amanda is saying Will killed Joseph. How?
Albert- "Officers, when a human died that time a chemical reaction occurred and it is known as rigermotis. Due to this, his body parts become numb. Due to this numbness, fingers get moved and due to gunshot, Joseph also died there."
… All the officers still couldn't understand what he just said. Albert can see their faces and he took everyone out from the office. They had set up a screen in another room. They were looking at the screen of what was going on in the room. Amanda had placed that human doll in front of that gun and due to rigermotis, finger pulled the trigger and a gun fire sound came.
All the officers were not believing in their eyes. It was amazing and they had never seen something like this. It was clearly seen how it all happened. Due to his own mistake, Joseph also gets killed over there. Albert- "James… now the case is closed."
James- "Yeah."
They start making the report in the afternoon time, they send a report to the headquarters with footage. The case was a challenge for all of them.
[At night]
They all thought that they should celebrate because they had solved that case which no one was able to solve. They all went to a restaurant and they ordered a lot of food. After some time, waiters came there and placed their food on the table. Everyone was enjoying and talking to each other but Summer was looking at James. She remembered that time when they entered that club. That time, James held those bouncers single handedly. His way of fighting was different from others.
Kelly- "What happened Summer?"
She was shocked and smiled.
Summer- "Nothing."
Harry had changed his hiding place. That club was closed due to drug traces. James had found that the club was illegal and due to that they closed that place. Now they all used to hide themselves in a big house in a lonely place. He was very angry with Peter because of him they had to leave that place but now they have to stay there.
Peter- "What now Boss?"
Harry- "We can't stop our work. We will run our work from here also."
They all were wondering why Harry is running away from that officer that time on the road they can kill him but they did not. Why? [Phone ringing] Harry takes the call.
"Ok I will."
There was someone who used to talk to him and he used to give him an answer. Harry ordered everyone to get ready to prepare drugs. After half an hour, many vans came and they took out a huge number of bags and many chemicals.
"Let's start."
Next day.
All the officers were on their seats and they were having one file on their hands. An officer came there and they told them that they had to solve another case because a murder had happened and they have to solve it.
James- "Let's go officers, we have work to do."
When they reached at the spot, it was a house where murder had happened. There was a huge crowd standing around and police officers had already reached there and they had placed yellow tape around that place. Officers were looking at a dead body which was laying on the floor and blood was all over in his body.
… GK- "Hmm. James, what can you say about it?"
James does not know what to say but at that time he can only say that to collect all the evidence and fingerprints.
Other officers were trying to collect information from other people. GK was standing in front of that dead body. He was looking a little bit confused because he wasn't able to understand what kind of wound was that.
"James… have you ever seen a weapon or knife like this?"
The wound was circular in shape. James was also surprised to see that. Meanwhile, an ambulance came there and they took that dead body there to the forensic lab.
An officer came and told me that the victim's name is Simon and he used to be a police officer.
"What the hell was going James? Again, one more police officer."
James was pressing his lips inside. He does not know what to say. Officers were roaming around the house but they did not find anything. Tim and William came in front of Ben and Connor with all other officers. They were looking depressed.
"What happened?"
They were trying to say something but they couldn't. They all were standing in front of him silently.
"Sir… we have checked whole house but there is no murder weapon."
This line shocked both of them. There was no murder weapon then where it is. GK asked them if they checked outside? But the officers had checked outside also and there also they did not find anything. If there is no weapon then where it is. This is weird. Everything was in their places, there was no sign of fighting then who killed him? They went back to the forensic lab and over their Albert was checking that dead body.
All officers came there and asked him what happened to him and the reason behind his death.
"Officers, seven hours have passed till he died and the weapon which was used by the killer is circle in shape and long also." … GK put his first finger inside that wound and it was too deep also.
"Anything else, doctor."
"Yes James. I had never seen a weapon like this."
Both the doctors were surprised.
Officers were in their office. Time and William were looking at their screen. They were searching about those weapons whose shape is circular in shape and long also. James was checking all the old files and trying to find the case where the killer had used that kind of weapon. After an hour, he was not able to find any case which is similar to him or any case where the killer had used that kind of weapon. In frustration, he threw those files on the table and hit both his hands on his table.
He was taking heavy breaths.
"James, calm down."
But James won't be calm and Martin came there when he saw all the officers and their frustrated faces. He had a smile on his face but when he saw James, he got scared. He was looking very angry and he walked towards him but Martin ran away from there and acted like he had a call.
… "BLOODY"
James came back to his chair but the phone started ringing and Kelly took the call. After having a call, she was shocked.
GK was looking at him and wanted to know why she was shocked.
"What happened Kelly?"
… "Sir… another murder had happened."
