Within the hall are sounds of page turning and sighs from the King as he goes over the consensual material to be approved. Managing these land can be tiresome but worthwhile to keep the peace, he swore to not repeat history. He knew that his decisions affected his people, and he wanted to be sure he made the right ones. He nodded with satisfaction as he finished the last document and stamped it with his seal. Standing to return to his quarter, the door to these grand halls burst open, and the King almost dived into the little intruder who forgot that he had the reputation of changing into a beast and eating his subjects who revert back to their primitive ways. The King stopped and looked back, his fury still visible in his eyes. He slowly returned to his throne, watching the intruder carefully. The intruder, realising his mistake, quickly bowed down and apologised for his mistake.
"What you're about to say better be worth storming into these halls without considering the present of your King. Now consider your words wisely boy."
The little boy dropped to one knee, bowed his head and said,
"Your Majesty, I bring news of mystical creatures and their civilisations."
The King rose from his throne and said,
"Tell me all that you know."
The boy recounted everything he encountered painting a vivid picture for the King. He imagined an oasis of breeders safely hidden away. Probably thriving under their noses not knowing what powers they hold or what they can do. In the end, though, the King was encountered in order to find a mate rather than create cubs with his sister. Her name was Everina who volunteered to give birth to a child for each clan only to return sickly and frail. The King cannot bear to see how lively she once was become a bedridden woman. The King's heart was broken, he knew something was wrong. He decided to look for a cure and went on a journey to find one. He found a wise man who gave him the remedy he needed to save Everina. Immediately after that, the King prohibited every clan from requesting his sister without his permission.
