Aaron Vaughn-Solomon's point of view
۞۞۞۞۞
IS IT OKAY TO FIND HER SAVAGE and intimidating behavior towards the Saint Laurent attendant who was crossing the line, so sexy? And predatory air that covered her like a protective cloak, together with that mischievous grin, made it all more attractive. I purposely kept quite about how the girl was shamelessly trying to flirt with me when I noticed Thays's annoyance, because I wanted to know what she was going to do.
And damn, I'm glad I stayed shut, otherwise, I would not have seen such a sight. It's really hot to see her annoyance being focused on other people instead of me. Especially when it was because of me. It made something inside of me jump, but I ignored it full heartedly. Those type of sensations are to be avoided.
Oh, and I think the tattoo in her cleavage might be a snake. I'm sure the small point I saw when she was in the green dress, showed something with scales. But wouldn't it be weird? After all, she said she's terrified of snakes. Maybe it's another dragon tattoo?
Well, that would mean she really likes dragons.
As guided her to Prada, my phone began to vibrate on my pocket and I stopped on the sitting area and putting everything over a couch, than I made her sit on the middle of my legs again. This way no man will possibly doubt that she might not be with me like this.
Thankfully, she didn't try to get up and stayed with her back on mine, "Who is it?"
"Mom!" Then I answered the video call.
"Are you two on the mall? And you are looking amazing, my dear," she said with a wide smile, looking at the girl in front of me.
"Hi Amber, and thank you. You look outstanding as well," her voice sounded soft, opposite to her attitude back in YSL. "And yes, we are in the mall."
"Are you on a date?"
"Kind of," I stated. "We are buying some things for her to take with her on the island."
"Daughter in law, you are lucky to have my son with you. He's the best at choosing looks. Every time I go shopping, I make him take me, so he'll chose mine for me. Really the best!"
She smiled, showing her deep dimples, "He is, isn't he? But are you okay, Amber? Do you need him for something now?" I hope not.
Mom pressed her lips together, "I just wanted to know if you were together now." Ha, she's probably tracking my phone again. "Oh, and son, your brothers met you yesterday, right?"
"Of course, they did. After you spread to the entire family about me and Thays, they ran to me, to complain about me keeping it a secret from them," those troublemakers. "But it's alright now."
Thays turned her face slightly to me, "You told me that your family learned about it before mine, right, darling? Maybe that will help." Ah, yes, she knows they are troublemakers.
I nodded, "I did, sweetheart. They were shamelessly relieved by that."
"My dear, you aren't using your glasses now, like you were yesterday. I thought you had to use them constantly. You look amazing with and without them." Well, I was going to ask her about that at some time too. Although I think she only uses it casually.
"Oh, it's because I only use it while reading at home. Since my vision problem is a minor one, and I only use it when I have to read a lot, otherwise I might have a headache," as I imagined.
"Oh, I get it. But you look beautiful with them too. So, did you meet her parents yesterday in video call, son? How was it?"
Glaring at her, I clicked my tongue, "The boys already told you that? Damn they are really gossipers like you, mom. That's why I kept it from them." Thays giggled softly to that.
Mom sulked, "Don't say that to this mother of yours, Aaron. I just think our family should always be aware of what we do. And they were worried about daughter-in-law's parents not liking you!"
"You don't have to worry about that, Amber," Thays held my hand, probably to keep me shut. "He won my parents very easily. The problematic one is my dad, but he liked him. They were very grateful that you invited them to the island as well, and although mom seemed kind of worried because they are many people, when we told her that you didn't see any problems with that, she got excited."
Mom smiled widely to that, "So, my son won your family? They liked him, right?" Why was she worried about that? Did she thought I wouldn't do it?
"He did," she squeezed my hand again. "Mom already called him son-in-law. My siblings also liked him, so he'll be fine." Siblings? In plural?
I only talked with the 8th one. Did they call her later? She didn't even told me that.
"That's amazing news. Do you already know if they will come in 23 or 25, dear? It'll be better to arrange all the chambers."
"25. My youngest siblings will come with their partners apparently. I don't really know them though," she bit her bottom lip and I squeezed her hand softly, noticing how she seemed anxious when it came to the two youngest. "If you need any help, just tell me. I don't want to cause you too many troubles with this, Amber."
"No need, my love. You can ask Aaron. I always loved preparing those occasions. It's exciting. Especially now that we'll be having more people with us. I want it all to be perfect, and I hope your parents will like us," oh, mom.
"You are amazing, mom. I'm sure they will adore you. Thays's mom surely will. Your personalities are quite similar, right, sweetheart?" My mom must be anxious to meet them. It makes me feel kind of guilty for lying about all this.
"Yes. Mom will love you, Amber. You don't have to worry about that. Just don't overwork yourself too much with this, okay?" I'm really glad that she's able to deal with my mom easily like this. It helps tremendously.
Mom nodded, "Okay, my dear. Everything will work just fine. And Aaron, you haven't sent me her number yet, so do that. It'll be good. Add her in our family group too. The Vaughn-Solomon, just with us, not the other one with you auntie and uncle!" I nodded.
"Alright, mom. I will. Where are you now?"
"In my car. The chauffeur is taking me to the flower shop. Oh, yes. Dear, what flowers do you like? I'll arrange them in your guys room, together with the red roses for Aaron." She's too much.
