Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 Rahap's Host

"Ray!" they both called out before running to their room.

Back in the room, Ray was busy packing some of his belongings and cleaning up the mess Jacob made in the room when he gets a feeling like someone was also in the room with him.

He ignored the feeling, thinking that his mind was just playing tricks with him. Just then, He glances at the window and spots a flickering light dancing outside.

A firefly hovers near the glass, its luminescent glow captivating Ray's attention. He watches as it flits around, seemingly beckoning him.

Ray walks closer to the window, mesmerized by the firefly's enchanting light. Suddenly, the firefly morphs into a grotesque DEMON, still radiating an eerie illumination.

Its wings stretch out like shadowy tendrils, and its eyes glow with an otherworldly intensity.

"Ray... Come closer, Ray..." The demon whispered.

Ray's eyes widen in both fascination and fear. He takes a cautious step backward but cannot resist the demon's magnetic pull.

Slowly, he approaches the window, drawn to the creature's dark allure.

"Who or what are you?" Ray asked.

" I'm Rahap let me in, Ray. We could be so much stronger together. Imagine the power, the freedom, I can make your weak plant ability strong without any effort or training," Rahap said.

Ray's heart races as conflicting emotions flood his mind. He clenches his fists, attempting to resist the demon's enticement.

"No! Get away from me! Leave me alone!"

Rahap's sinister laughter echoes through the room, filling it with an unsettling aura. He lunges toward Ray, He elongated from trying to penetrate the window's barrier.

"I won't let you take me! I won't let you control me!" Ray shouted.

Adam and Jacob who were just a few blocks away heard his scream and increased their speed.

Determination fills Ray's eyes as he reaches for a small container of a powder substance sitting nearby. He grabs a handful and hurls it at the demon, causing it to screech in agony.

The powder substance disintegrates upon contact with the creature's dark form, warding it off momentarily.

Ray takes advantage of the Rahap temporary retreat and slams the window shut, panting heavily. He leans against the glass, relieved but still shaken by the encounter.

The room fell into a sudden silence as the demon Rahap vanished from the window, dissipating into thin air.

Ray turned around, relief flooding his features. He let out a deep sigh, believing that the encounter had come to an end.

As Ray's body tensed with a momentary reprieve, a bone-chilling presence swept over him.

A cold breath grazed the back of his neck, sending shivers down his spine. Without warning, Rahap materialized behind him. Rahap's elongated fingers gripped Ray's neck, constricting like a vise, causing Ray's heart to skip a beat.

Fear enveloped Ray's entire being as he struggled against Rahap's suffocating grasp.

Ray gasped for breath, his voice strained yet defiant.

"Your little dust may not be enough, but my spirit will not yield!" he retorted, his words laced with determination.

But Rahap only laughed a malevolent sound that reverberated through the room.

"Your bravery is futile, mortal," Rahap sneered, his eyes glowing with wicked glee. "I shall make your body my vessel, and together, we shall unleash chaos upon this realm!"

With a surge of power, Rahap forced his way into Ray's vulnerable form. Ray's body convulsed as the demon's essence merged with his own, an unholy union that threatened to consume his very soul.

The room seemed to darken as Ray's eyes turned a sinister shade, his once vibrant spirit overshadowed by Rahap's malefic presence. A sinister grin formed on Ray's lips as his voice, now distorted by Rahap's influence, echoed through the chamber.

"Your resistance is futile, weakling," Ray-Rahap hissed, relishing in the terror he instilled. "From this moment on, your soul is mine to command."

Adam and Jacob burst into the room only to find Ray sitting on his chair reading a book.

They both gave themselves a stair.

"What's up, bro? Are you ok?" Adam asked.

"Yeah I'm good, how are you doing brother?" Ray inquired.

"I'm good, but Brother? When did you start calling me that?" Jacob asked.

"Nothing just forget about it," Ray added. "I will be going to bed now it's already late and we have a long day ahead of us."

"Do you think he's ok?" Adam whispered to Jacob.

"I don't know, let's just wait and see what happens, "Jacob whispered back.

They all went to their beds and took a good night's sleep preparing for the long day ahead.

At 8:00 am the next morning, the students were woken up by a bell in their rooms, it was the signal for everyone to get dressed and ready for the day.

Once everyone was ready, they were to head down to the canteen for breakfast.

As soon as Jacob woke up, the system interface was the first thing that greeted him.

[Good morning host]

And he also heard Dagon's voice.

(Good morning host, hope you had a good night's sleep)

"These two things calling host at the same time, I think my body has become the most suitable place to dwell," he murmured as he got up and went to get ready for the day.

The three friends all got ready fast and left for the canteen to get breakfast.

The canteen was a spacious and well-lit area within the school campus.

The entrance to the canteen was wide and inviting, with double doors that allowed a smooth flow of students entering and exiting. As students stepped inside, they were greeted by a vibrant and lively atmosphere.

The canteen was designed with a combination of tables and chairs, booths, and bar-style seating, offering various seating options to accommodate different preferences and group sizes.

The air was filled with the aroma of freshly prepared food, ranging from mouthwatering snacks to hearty meals. The canteen staff worked diligently, swiftly serving the eager students, ensuring everyone was well-fed.

Groups of friends huddled together, laughing and chatting animatedly, while others sat alone, engrossed in their books or enjoying a quiet moment of relaxation.
