Elizabeth:
The wind is howling as we make our way into a red brick Inn. It looks like it could fall apart if I sneeze too hard, but it is coverage from the biting cold, so I'll take it. This will be the last night we spend at some random place before we have the egg and start heading back. I'm not sure if I worry more about the fact that someone could be following us to this location, or that someone could jump us after we get the egg.
I think that at least after we have the egg, I can hide it in me. That way, if someone wants to take it, they would have to capture me, kill me, and undo the spell to get the egg out of my energy. The way the spell works is by shrinking the egg, which itself is a capsule where the newborn prince is sleeping, and integrating it into my power. A nifty thing to know. My father taught me before I left.
