Chapter 638 - Murder-Suicide

Thousands of miles away from the sea, in the capital, inside of a private ward of a hospital. Five adults with anxious looks on their faces were gathered around an old doctor with white hair. The doctor was examining a female patient who was laying on the bed unconscious. The doctor checked the eyes, the throat and the ears of the patient. He also examined the scarred skin from the face to the back and the limp arms which were being supported by a metal protrusion.

When the doctor was finished, he shook his head and sighed. It was obvious that he felt hopeless as he approached the time to deliver the verdict on the condition of the patient.

"I am afraid that the damage is irreversible and the condition of the patient is permanent." he said in a tone that was as gentle as could be when delivering bad news to the family of a patient.
