Chi Zimo smirked at the lost and confused look on his grandmother's face and said. "Cat got your tongue, huh."
"We don't know anything." Their aunt interfered unwelcomingly.
"Who told you to talk?" Ringo barked.
Chi Lian left her seat, approached her grandmother and squatted down. Looking directly in the old woman's eyes she said, "Are you really determined to die on this hill number one? There are other ways to make you talk you know. You can deny it all you want but the facts cannot be changed. Like the fact that the house you lived in was purchased one week after my mother was born. Were you paid by someone to take my mother in because that's the only logical explanation?"
Rather than answer her, the old woman clamped her mouth shut.
"You really are determined to take the secret to the grave huh," Chi Lian said, "You have forced me to do what comes next."
