Chi Lian was racing against time itself to get to Hian. The woman had given her only one hour and so far, ten minutes were gone because she had to stop, duck into a public restroom and disguise herself.
This new disguise was a rush job, she looked like a young nineteen or twenty year old girl with short cropped hair like that of a young boy. In her ears were black studs and on her feet were black suede boots. She threw on a black jacket, walked to the parking structure where T4 had delivered her motorcycle mysteriously and set off.
If anybody saw her, they would assume that she was a punk, a rich young punk who enjoyed dressing up like a tom boy.
The royal kitchen had its main branch in the capital and that's where she was heading. Chi Lian could not imagine how Hian had managed to get into the royal kitchen without being noticed by anyone. She was quite literally a most wanted woman in the empire.
