"They are gone; they won't be coming back anytime soon." Chi Wei came back inside the house and announced loudly. "Is everyone okay?" he asked.
"We are all fine," Chi Lian announced on behalf of everyone. They were all crowded around mama Chi to see if she was okay. Mama Chi was sobbing inconsolably. "Mum, it will be okay, stop crying."
"Why can't she love me, I am her daughter too. Why does she keep doing this to me? Am I so unlovable?" Mama Chi sobbed.
