Ella stood at the mouth of her cave looking up at the dark night sky and wondered if her husband was doing well since it had been a day since he had left with some other people to go and track down the dragon that was responsible for the attack on his city wall. It was a major concern.
The night air was serenely calm with barely a sound and in all the silence she remembered her sister, Elsa.
The next day, Elsa was going to celebrate her eighteenth birthday and she wasn't going to be there to share the happiness with her and the thought saddened her. Memories of Elsa's younger self flashed through her mind and a small smile adorned her lips at how much she had grown from a toothless baby into a young and beautiful woman.
Elsa was now all grown and mature and Ella couldn't help but think of all the attention she was receiving from boys because she was not only pretty but also intelligent and kind.
