'Wait, what was he doing?' he screamed inwardly as he looked at the woman that was pulling out something from a small bag she had come with.
'He had readily agreed that he was her mate. Lana was going to kill him if she knew about this. She was already seemingly eager to let him go and here he was announcing that they were mates. He snapped out of his thoughts when he felt and turned to see the physician looking at him, her eyes lingering on his neck a little.
"I don't see a mark…" She explained her prolonged stare when she felt him looking at her cautiously.
"That's because we have just meet." Carlos replied as his attention shifted back to the woman on the bed.
The physician continued with her job while Carlos and Diablo watched on in silence.
"What do plan do about the girl?" Diablo asked in low voice, his eyes shifting from the woman on the bed to Carlos that was standing beside him.
"Honestly, I don't know." Carlos replied as he turned to face his friend.
