Lena led the way followed by her mother and sister. The shining moon brightening their way. Lena just wanted to get home and rest, it had been a stressful day the whole day and night with no sleep. She planned to go straight into the shower and freshen up before she slept peacefully. As they neared their mansion Lena felt as though it had been unusually quiet, the air being still.
"I don't likethis quietness," Lena said as she stopped abruptly.
" Lena please, I'm too tired for your superstitions, it's obviously quiet since everything else is asleep, we are the only witches up at this hour," Martha said.
"I don't plan on staying here in the cold one more minute, let's get inside, maybe Lena will be our guard out here," Luna said as she went forward, limping slightly as she went.
