Chereads / Destiny (Namjin) / Chapter 66 - Chapter 64

Chapter 66 - Chapter 64

Namhyuk's visits to the BTS gang quickly became the highlight of his days. Every time he entered the practice room, the atmosphere would shift from intense focus to playful chaos, with Namhyuk often at the center of it all.

During the practice sessions, the BTS gang quickly noticed the stark differences between Namhyuk and the Namjoon they knew. As they sparred, it became clear that Namhyuk approached everything with a childlike enthusiasm that Namjoon never had. While Namjoon was calculated, often keeping his thoughts and feelings hidden, Namhyuk wore his heart on his sleeve, openly expressing himself without reservation.

In one session, Yoongi observed Namhyuk's technique. "Namjoon used to keep everything so close to his chest," Yoongi muttered to Jungkook, who nodded in agreement. "He was always careful, never revealing too much. But look at Namhyuk-he's so... open."

Namhyuk, overhearing them, grinned widely, "Why hide what you feel? It's better to just say it!" His carefree attitude was a breath of fresh air, but it also made the gang more protective of him, especially since Namhyuk didn't seem to understand the full danger of the world they lived in.

During a particularly intense sparring session, Namhyuk got a little too enthusiastic and accidentally knocked Jimin over. Immediately, his face fell, and he rushed over to help Jimin up, apologizing profusely. The other members watched in amusement as Namhyuk fussed over Jimin, checking for any injuries.

"Hyuk-ah, I'm fine, really," Jimin laughed, patting Namhyuk's head. Namhyuk's eyes glowed with a mix of worry and affection still clinging on to Jimin, a stark contrast to Namjoon, who would have likely given a quick nod and moved onon still feeling bad and blaming himself but never showing.

Another time, when they were working on energy control, Seokjin noticed how Namhyuk's energy was all over the place, but his intentions were pure. Namhyuk would get frustrated, but instead of bottling it up like Namjoon used to, he'd openly express his confusion and frustration.

"I don't get it!" Namhyuk exclaimed after yet another failed attempt. "Why is it so hard?"

Namjoon would have kept quiet, working through the problem alone, but Namhyuk sought help and guidance from the others, making him more approachable and, in some ways, easier to care for.

However, Namhyuk's open nature didn't mean he was weak. The gang learned this the hard way when Namhyuk showed how fiercely protective he was of the people he cared about. During one discussion, when Dae Jung and Min Ho were mentioned, Namhyuk's entire demeanor changed. His usual bright expression darkened, and his eyes glowed with a possessive intensity.

"Why do you care about them so much?" Taehyung asked carefully.

"Because they're my brothers," Namhyuk said simply, but there was a steel in his voice that made everyone pause. "I don't care what they've done or who they've hurt. They're my family."

Namhyuk's loyalty was absolute, another sharp contrast to Namjoon, even if he liked someone, he would weigh his decisions carefully, considering the consequences before acting. Namhyuk, on the other hand, acted on instinct and emotion, a double-edged sword that made him both endearing and dangerous.

As the gang watched Namhyuk navigate his way through their world, they couldn't help but admire the way he embraced life. Unlike Namjoon, who bore the weight of the world on his shoulders, Namhyuk carried his burdens lightly, always with a smile, but with an underlying strength that was just as formidable.

Despite their differences, it was clear that Namhyuk was someone they could trust, someone who would stand by them no matter what. And while they missed Namjoon, they couldn't help but feel that in Namhyuk, they had gained something equally precious-a friend who would fight fiercely for them, and a brother who would never let them down.

As they rested after another intense training session, Seokjin broke the silence, his voice low but filled with genuine curiosity. "Namhyuk, how did you meet Dae Jung and Min Ho? And why do you trust them so much?"

Namhyuk, with his usual carefree demeanor, smiled softly. He leaned back against the cold wall, letting out a small sigh as he thought back to the moment he first woke up. "I met Dae Jung when I woke up from a long sleep. I was in a comatose state, I dont know why..... But anyway, when I finally opened my eyes, Dae Jung was the first person I saw. He was there for me, looking out for me, taking care of me. Min Ho was there too, and they've both protected me since. So, I trust them. They've only shown me kindness."

Seokjin listened carefully, his heart aching at how easily Namhyuk trusted those who had taken care of him, despite their history with the rest of the gang. "But Namhyuk, don't you ever wonder why Hana is pressuring you to stabilize your energy? Doesn't it make you suspicious of her intentions?"

Namhyuk shook his head, a slight grin tugging at his lips. "I've never asked her why. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. If getting stronger means I can protect the people I care about, then I'm not losing anything. So, whatever her reasons are, they don't really concern me."

Seokjin couldn't help but smile at Namhyuk's innocent perspective, though he felt a pang of concern. Namhyuk's open-mindedness was refreshing but also a bit worrisome. He didn't want to burden Namhyuk with doubts, so he simply nodded and patted his shoulder. "Just be careful, okay? Not everyone's as honest as you."

Namhyuk chuckled, his eyes sparkling with sincerity. "I'll be fine, hyung. I know your story so I trust you all, too . "

As the hours passed , Namhyuk eventually left the cell to return to his brothers, Seokjin stayed behind, the weight of his thoughts pressing down on him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, silver ring, one that Namjoon had given him long ago, a symbol of the bond they once shared.

His fingers tightened around the ring as memories of Namjoon flooded back-memories of a quiet, shy, and clever young man who always hid his true feelings, sacrificing his own happiness for those he loved. Namhyuk was so different, so open and expressive, almost like a child who had nothing to hide. Seokjin couldn't help but wonder what Namjoon might have been like if he hadn't been subjected to such a harsh life, if he hadn't been molded by pain and betrayal.

As a tear slid down Seokjin's cheek, he felt someone's presence near him. It was Soobin. He immediately noticed Seokjin's tear-streaked face and rushed over, concern etched across his features. "Hyung, what's wrong?" he asked gently.

Seokjin sniffled, struggling to compose himself as he looked at Soobin. "If Namjoon hadn't been with Byung Ho... if he had lived a normal life, where he wasn't tortured and blackmailed every day... if he hadn't been treated so harshly... he would've been like Namhyuk. Carefree, bright, happy..."

Soobin sat beside him, his expression somber. "You're right. Namjoon changed because of everything he went through. But what hurts the most is that we weren't there for him when he needed us. We should have been his support, his family, but we pushed him away instead."

Beomgyu also saw his hyungs sad and worried so he went towards them, his usually playful demeanor replaced with a serious expression. He had overheard their conversation and felt the same weight of guilt. "Hyung was drifting away from us, and we just let it happen," Beomgyu admitted, sitting down beside them. "Even after everything, we still doubted him. But for us, for the first time, he shifted into his wolf form and took bullets to protect us."

Seokjin's grip on the ring tightened as more tears slipped down his face. The pain of what they had lost was almost unbearable. "We failed him," Seokjin whispered, his voice breaking. "We doubted him when we should have trusted him. And now... now we see what he could've been, what he should've been. And even now I don't have a clue as to where he is, how he is and what to do to help him. "

Soobin placed a comforting hand on Seokjin's shoulder. "We can't change the past, hyung. But we can make sure Namhyuk never goes through the same thing. We can protect him, be there for him. And bring Namjoon hyung back, anyhow,at any cost."

Beomgyu nodded in agreement, his eyes shining with determination. "We have to bring Namjoon hyung back, also we can't let what happened to him happen to Namhyuk. Who knows they might be related somehow. "

As Seokjin slipped the ring back into his pocket, he made a silent promise to himself and to Namjoon's memory. He wouldn't fail Namhyuk like he had failed Namjoon. They would protect Namhyuk, and bring Namjoon no matter what. And with that resolve, the three of them sat together in the isolated cell, united in their determination to ensure that Namhyuk and Namjoon's light would never be extinguished.

--------------

Namhyuk was excited as he searched the hallways of the company, his heart beating faster with anticipation. He had been training hard, and now he wanted to show his progress to his hyungs, Dae Jung and Min Ho. They had been protective and encouraging, and Namhyuk wanted to prove that he could be just as strong for them.

As he neared Dae Jung's room, an alluring scent suddenly hit him. His instincts sharpened, and he immediately recognized the scent of an omega in heat. Frowning with concern, he rushed towards the door and pushed it open. Inside, Dae Jung was shirtless, sweat dripping down his body as he struggled to breathe, soft moans escaping his lips. His eyes were glazed with the haze of his heat, and it was clear that something was wrong.

Namhyuk hurried to Dae Jung's side. "Hyung! What's happening? Where's Min Ho-hyung? What should I do to help you?"

Dae Jung groaned softly, clutching the sheets beneath him. "It came out of nowhere, Namhyuk. I normally know when my heat is coming... but this time... it's different. It feels like it was induced by something. I wasn't ready."

Namhyuk's eyes darkened with concern. "Induced? By something? Who would do that?"

Dae Jung shook his head weakly. "I don't know... but Min Ho isn't here. You need to protect me, Namhyuk. There are other alphas around. You can't let any of them come near me."

Namhyuk's expression hardened with resolve as he nodded. "Don't worry, hyung. I won't let anyone hurt you. I'll protect you."

With that, Namhyuk stood up and closed the door behind him. He positioned himself firmly outside Dae Jung's room, determined to keep his promise. As the moments passed, his senses heightened, knowing that any alpha could be drawn by Dae Jung's scent. He couldn't afford to let his guard down, not for a second.

From a distance, Byung Ho watched with a wicked smirk on his face, hidden behind a corner. In his hand, two small sprays glinted in the dim light. One was a heat inducer he had cunningly slipped into Dae Jung's food, the other, a hormone imbalance agent he had given to some of the young alphas in the companycompany, to induce rut. His plan was already in motion.

In Byung Ho's mind, everything was falling into place. "I sprayed the heat inducer in Dae Jung's meal, and those young alphas are already reacting to the hormone imbalance pills. Soon, they'll lose control, and Namhyuk will be overwhelmed. That's when my second plan comes into play."

Namhyuk's sharp hearing picked up the sound of footsteps approaching, and his gaze snapped to the hallway. Three alphas were heading his way, their eyes dark with aggression and their movements filled with the telltale signs of being in rut. Their primal instincts were taking over, and they were being drawn to the omega in heat behind Namhyuk.

"Move aside," one of the alphas growled, his voice rough and filled with frustration.

Namhyuk stood tall, his stance unyielding. "I can't let you through."

Another alpha bared his teeth, his anger flaring. "You think you can stop us? Step aside, kid. You have no idea what you're dealing with."

Namhyuk's eyes narrowed, his calm demeanor faltering for a moment. He could feel the weight of their combined energy pressing down on him, but he wasn't about to back down. "I said no. Dae Jung-hyung is under my protection. If you want to get to him, you'll have to go through me."

That was all it took to spark the fight. The alphas charged at him, their instincts overwhelming their reason. Namhyuk braced himself, his hybrid energy surging through him as he met them head-on. The practice really paid off. He was strong, no doubt about that, but fighting three alphas at once while trying to protect Dae Jung was a challenge even for him.

The first alpha lunged at him, and Namhyuk dodged swiftly, countering with a powerful strike to his ribs, sending him crashing against the wall. But before he could recover, another alpha grabbed him from behind, throwing him hard onto the ground. Namhyuk grunted in pain as his back hit the floor, but he quickly rolled to the side to avoid a kick aimed at his head.

"You're outnumbered!" one of the alphas sneered, moving in for another attack. "You can't win."

Namhyuk wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and got back on his feet, his eyes burning with determination. "I don't need to win," he said, his voice low but fierce. "I just need to protect my hyung."

The fight raged on, each alpha attacking Namhyuk with everything they had. Namhyuk fought back with equal ferocity, but he was beginning to feel the strain. His energy was running low, and the hits he took were starting to take a toll on him. One of the alphas managed to land a hard punch to his jaw, sending Namhyuk sprawling across the floor.

As Namhyuk struggled to get up, Byung Ho, still lurking in the shadows, decided it was time to strike. With a malicious grin, he tossed a small object toward Namhyuk. It skidded across the floor, stopping just inches from Namhyuk's hand.

Namhyuk didn't have time to pay attention to what it was. His focus was entirely on the alphas in front of him, his body aching from the blows he had taken. He had to hold out. He had to protect Dae Jung, no matter what...just until Min ho comes.

Meanwhile, across town, Min Ho was in the middle of investigating a crime scene. A burnt-down house stood in front of him, and in the wreckage, they had found a charred body. The condition of the body made it impossible to identify, but Min Ho had a gut feeling that it belonged to one of their secret spies or someone related to BTS gang. The whole situation felt wrong.

His phone buzzed in his pocket, and when he saw Namhyuk's name flashing on the screen, a sense of urgency washed over him. He answered the call quickly.

"Hyung," Namhyuk's voice came through, breathless and strained. "Dae Jung is in heat... he needs help."

Min Ho didn't hesitate for a second. "I'm on my way."

He turned on his heel, heading straight for his car. Several of his seniors were standing nearby, discussing the situation at the crime scene, but when they saw Min Ho heading out, one of them stepped in front of him.

"Min Ho, we need you here. This situation is important."

Min Ho's expression was cold, his eyes like steel as he stared down the man blocking his path. "Move."

The man faltered, but tried to stand his ground. "You can't leave right now-"

"I said, move." Min Ho's voice was low and dangerous, carrying the weight of an alpha who wouldn't be denied. "I have something far more important to deal with. If you get in my way again, I'll show you just how serious I am."

His tone left no room for argument. The senior, realizing that trying to stop Min Ho would only result in trouble, stepped aside. Without wasting another moment, Min Ho got into his car and sped off toward the company.

Back at the building, Namhyuk was struggling to hold off the alphas. He was bleeding from a gash on his arm, and one of his ribs felt like it might be cracked, but he refused to give in. His mind was laser-focused on protecting Dae Jung, and he wasn't going to let anyone get past him.

Just when he thought he might be overwhelmed, Min Ho arrived, his presence filling the hallway with an icy chill. Without saying a word, Min Ho joined the fight, his movements precise and deadly. Together, he and Namhyuk fought off the alphas, driving them back until they finally retreated, knowing they were no match for the combined strength of the two brothers.

As the last alpha stumbled away, Namhyuk slumped against the wall, breathing heavily. His injuries were starting to catch up with him, but he couldn't help the small smile that tugged at his lips as he looked at Min Ho.

"You came just in time, hyung," Namhyuk said, his voice tired but grateful.

Min Ho glanced at him, his usually cold expression softening just slightly. "You did well. You protected Dae Jung."

Namhyuk grinned, despite the pain he was in. "Of course. I promised I would."

Min Ho looked at Namhyuk, noticing for the first time how seamlessly they had fought together. Namhyuk's coordination with him had been perfect, as though they had been fighting alongside each other for years. It was impressive.

"You're strong, Namhyuk," Min Ho said quietly. "Stronger than I thought."

Namhyuk's grin widened, pride swelling in his chest. "Thanks, hyung. I've been working hard."

But as they stood there, recovering from the fight, Byung Ho's smirk remained hidden in the shadows. His plan wasn't over yet. Not by a long shot.

After the fight, Min Ho wasted no time. He went straight into Dae Jung's room to check on him. As he entered, the scent of heat still lingered in the air, though it wasn't as strong as before. Dae Jung lay on the bed, his chest heaving as he tried to recover from the ordeal. Sweat dripped from his body, and his eyes were hazy with the remnants of his heat.

Min Ho approached him quietly and sat beside him, gently wiping the sweat from his forehead with a cloth. "Baby, are you feeling any better?" he asked, his tone soft but filled with concern.

Dae Jung nodded weakly, still catching his breath. "It's better now, Minnie... but something's not right. My heat... it wasn't supposed to come yet. I feel like it was induced somehow."

Min Ho frowned deeply. He had suspected as much, especially with the way Namhyuk had mentioned it earlier. "Byung Ho..." Min Ho muttered under his breath. "That bastard is probably behind this."

Dae Jung groaned softly, his body still weak from the heat. "I don't know... but I don't like it. There are too many alphas in this company. If Namhyuk hadn't been there to protect me..."

Min Ho shook his head, a cold fire burning in his eyes. "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. Namhyuk did well today. He fought off those alphas like a true brother. But we need to be careful. This might just be the beginning."

Dae Jung reached out and gripped Min Ho's wrist weakly. "Thanks... Minnie. For always being there."

Min Ho gave him a small nod. "You're my life, my love. How can you say thank you to your own life, huh? ...Rest now. I'll make sure no one else gets near you."

After ensuring that Dae Jung was comfortable, Min Ho left the room. He saw Namhyuk leaning against the wall outside, panting slightly. He had taken quite a few hits during the fight but was still standing strong. Min Ho nodded at him, giving him an unspoken acknowledgment of his efforts.

"You should eat something, Namhyuk. You've been through a lot," Min Ho said.

Namhyuk smiled weakly. "I'm fine, hyung. I'll grab something to eat and drink, then get back to training."

Min Ho patted him on the shoulder before heading off. As Namhyuk made his way to the kitchen, he suddenly felt a wave of dizziness wash over him. His vision blurred slightly, and his legs felt weak beneath him. He paused, shaking his head as if to clear the feeling. Maybe I'm just exhausted from the fight, he thought to himself, trying to ignore it.

He reached the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water, and sat down to eat. But the dizzy sensation didn't fully leave him, making him feel strangely lethargic. As Namhyuk tried to push through the feeling, Byung Ho watched from the shadows, his lips curling into a wicked smirk. His plan was working perfectly.

Soon... very soon, Byung Ho thought as he slinked away unnoticed.

Later that night, Min Ho visited the BTS gang. As he stepped into their quarters, Seokjin, Yoongi, Jimin, and the others were already gathered, discussing something among themselves. They noticed Min Ho's presence immediately and turned toward him with curious expressions.

"Min Ho," Seokjin greeted, his usual calm demeanor in place. "What brings you here?"

Min Ho crossed his arms, his expression unreadable. "Do you still have contact with your elders?"

The group exchanged confused glances. "Our elders?" Jimin asked, his brow furrowing. "Why are you asking about them?"

Min Ho remained silent for a moment, his eyes scanning the group. He wasn't one to trust easily, and right now, he wasn't about to reveal everything he knew. But Seokjin and the others were sharp; they sensed that Min Ho was holding something back.

Yoongi leaned forward, his eyes narrowing slightly. "You came all this way just to ask about our elders? What's going on, Min Ho? You're not telling us the whole story."

Jungkook, who had been quietly observing, chimed in. "Something's up, isn't it? You're too tense. Spill it."

Min Ho's jaw tightened. He didn't like being cornered like this, but he could see that the BTS gang wasn't going to let him leave without some answers. They were skilled at manipulating conversations to get what they wanted, and Min Ho knew that all too well.

"Fine," Min Ho said coldly, his eyes hardening. "A burnt body was found near our building. We suspect it belongs to someone close to you."

The room went silent. The BTS members exchanged shocked looks, and Seokjin's calm exterior cracked slightly as he leaned forward.

"Who?" Seokjin asked, his voice low.

Min Ho's expression didn't change. "So Hoon. We found what we believe to be his remains."

Jungkook stood up, his fists clenched in disbelief. "So Hoon? But he was our friend! Why would anyone want to kill him?"

Min Ho shrugged, though his expression was grim. "I don't know. He was a foreigner, so he might have had enemies we didn't know about. But I have my suspicions."

Jimin's gaze sharpened. "What suspicions?"

Min Ho's eyes darkened. "He hurt your youngest, didn't he? Namjoon? Maybe this was revenge. Maybe one of you decided to take matters into your own hands."

There was a brief, tense silence in the room as everyone processed what Min Ho had just implied. Seokjin's eyes flashed with anger, but he kept his voice controlled. "You think we killed So Hoon? That's ridiculous."

Min Ho shrugged again, though his tone was sharper this time. "I'm just telling you what I think. So Hoon was found dead, and you're the only ones who had a reason to be angry with him. But I dont care, who died, who killed unless it's concerns my people. And you all don't mess with me and my family. And in my family Namhyuk is included, remember that. "

With that, Min Ho turned on his heel and left the room. The members of BTS were left in a stunned silence as they tried to process the gravity of the situation.

"How could this have happened?" Yoongi asked, breaking the silence. "So Hoon... dead?"

Seokjin rubbed his forehead in frustration. "There's more going on here than we know. We need to figure out who really killed him. It doesn't make sense."

Taehyun, who had been standing near the back, spoke up quietly. "Maybe he found something big, some clue about the murderer of Joon-wo's parents. Maybe there's something bigger happening that we're not seeing."

Seokjin nodded slowly. "We need to find out what's really going on. This is too suspicious."

The next day, Namhyuk was feeling weaker than usual during his training with Jungkook and Yeonjun. His body felt heavy, and each movement seemed to take more effort than it should have. Despite pushing himself through the drills, he couldn't shake the lethargy that had settled over him.

Jungkook, noticing Namhyuk's sluggish movements, called for a break. "Hey, Namhyuk, what's going on? You've been off all day."

Namhyuk shook his head, his breathing labored. "I'm fine. Just... tired, I guess."

Yeonjun frowned, exchanging a look with Jungkook. "You don't look fine. You've been feeling like this since yesterday, haven't you?"

At the resting area, Hoseok and Taehyun approached Namhyuk as well, their faces filled with concern. "Namhyuk," Hoseok said, sitting beside him, "did you hear anything from Min Ho about the investigation?"

Namhyuk, rubbing his tired eyes, nodded. "Yeah, hyung mentioned something about it yesterday. They found a burnt body near our building."

Hoseok raised an eyebrow. "A burnt body? Who was it?"

Namhyuk hesitated for a moment before answering. "The body was charred beyond recognition, but Min Ho-hyung found some belongings. A watch and a gold bracelet. They belonged to someone named So Hoon."

Others looked at each other. The gold bracket was indeed a gift given by the boys to So Hoon. Taehyun leaned forward, his expression grim. "So Hoon? Are they sure it's him?"

Namhyuk shrugged. "They didn't do any tests or anything. Min Ho-hyung recognized the watch and bracelet, so they confirmed it that way. The funeral was held last night."

"Who is So Hoon?" Asks Namhyuk out of curiosity.

Hoseok's eyes darkened with sadness and anger. "So Hoon was one of us. How could this happen? Why would anyone want to kill him?"

Taehyun nodded, his voice somber. "We need to find out who's responsible. So Hoon didn't deserve this. Whoever did this will pay."

The group fell into silence, each of them deep in thought. Namhyuk couldn't help but feel the weight of the situation pressing down on him. So Hoon's death, the strange weakness he had been feeling, and the secrets lurking in the shadows-it was all becoming too much. Something bigger was at play, and they were only beginning to scratch the surface.

Jin sat in the corner of the cell, his mind heavy with the recent news of So Hoon's death. He couldn't shake the eerie feeling that something wasn't right. The burnt body, the missing tests, the rushed funeral-it all felt too suspicious. His gaze lingered on Namhyuk, who sat across from him, looking unusually pale and tired. The boy had been fighting off exhaustion for whole day and Jin couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for him. Namhyuk had lost his memories, his identity as Namjoon, and now it seemed like So Hoon was gone too.

Jin sighed deeply, then turned to Namhyuk with a determined look. "Namhyuk, listen... I know you're not feeling well, but we need your help."

Namhyuk looked up, blinking sluggishly. "What is it, hyung?"

Jin hesitated, glancing at the others. All were watching him closely, knowing the weight of what he was about to ask. "We need to confirm So Hoon's death with Bang Si-Hyuk elder. We can't trust anyone else, not with this. But... we don't have any way to contact him. Could you bring us one cell phone? Just one, so we can confirm everything and return it immediately."

Namhyuk frowned, looking conflicted. He understood how much this meant to them. They had already lost Namjoon the soulnate they said, and now they were grappling with the idea that their friend So Hoon might be dead. He could see the sadness and desperation in Jin's eyes, and it tugged at his heart.

"I'll do it, hyung," Namhyuk finally said, his voice soft but resolute. "I'll get you a phone."

Jin gave him a small, grateful smile. "Thank you, Namhyuk. We really appreciate it."

Namhyuk stood up, feeling a wave of dizziness hit him again, but he shook it off. He couldn't let them down, not now. He exited the cell, making his way down to the storage room in the basement where the guards took their breaks. His steps were unsteady, and his vision blurred slightly, but he forced himself to keep going. The sooner he got the phone, the sooner he could help his hyungs.

When he arrived at the storage room, Namhyuk noticed that the area was unusually quiet. There were no guards in sight, which seemed like a stroke of luck. He took this as a good opportunity to search without being interrupted. His body felt heavy, and the dizzy spells made it hard to focus, but he pushed through the discomfort.

Namhyuk began opening cabinets and drawers, searching for a phone. His hands trembled slightly as he sifted through various items. He was running out of time-any moment now, the guards could come back. He couldn't afford to fail.

But just as Namhyuk found what seemed to be a phone, he suddenly felt a sharp pain at the back of his head. The force of the blow sent him crashing to the ground, blood trickling down from the wound. Groaning in pain, Namhyuk turned to see who had attacked him.

It was one of the alpha guards, the same one who had been in rut the day before and had tried to get to Dae Jung. His eyes were filled with fury as he glared down at Namhyuk.

"You... who the hell are you to guard the omega queen, Dae Jung?" the guard sneered, his voice filled with venom. "Who the hell do you think you are, standing in my way? You're nothing. Dae Jung sees you as nothing but a pathetic little boy."

Namhyuk clenched his jaw, his mind racing as he tried to get back on his feet. The guard towered over him, swinging the rod menacingly. "Today, I'll teach you a lesson for hurting me," the guard growled.

As the guard swung the rod again, Namhyuk mustered all the strength he had left and pushed the alpha hard. The guard stumbled back and fell to the ground, momentarily stunned by Namhyuk's unexpected resistance. But Namhyuk was already struggling to stay upright. The dizziness had worsened, and the blow to his head had left him disoriented.

He knew he didn't have much time. Namhyuk frantically resumed his search, pulling open more cabinets, his hands shaking from the effort. Finally, his fingers closed around a phone. He grabbed it and stuffed it into his pocket, ready to make his escape.

But before Namhyuk could leave the room, the guard was on him again. This time, the blow hit harder, and Namhyuk crumpled to the ground. Pain exploded in his abdomen as the guard began kicking him mercilessly, each strike sending shockwaves of agony through his body. He felt a sharp pain in his stomach as the guard's boot connected again and again.

Namhyuk coughed, and to his horror, he felt blood trickling from his mouth. His vision blurred further, and he could feel himself slipping away. The dizziness was overwhelming, and he struggled to catch his breath.

Just as everything seemed to be going dark, Min Ho appeared at the entrance of the room. His eyes widened in horror as he saw Namhyuk lying on the ground, bloodied and barely conscious. Without hesitation, Min Ho rushed toward them, fury burning in his eyes.

The guard didn't stand a chance. Min Ho grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the wall with a force that made the alpha whimper in fear. "What the hell did you do to him?!" Min Ho snarled, his voice filled with unbridled rage.

The guard tried to stammer out an explanation, but Min Ho wasn't interested in hearing it. He punched the guard repeatedly, each blow landing with brutal precision. The guard's nose cracked, and blood splattered the walls as Min Ho continued his assault, mercilessly beating him to the ground.

Once the guard was unconscious, Min Ho turned his attention to Namhyuk. He knelt beside him, panic setting in as he saw the blood on Namhyuk's lips. His pulse was weak, his breathing shallow. Min Ho's hands shook as he checked Namhyuk's vital signs.

"Namhyuk, wake up!" Min Ho shouted, his voice laced with fear. "Please, hang in there! You can't die!"

But Namhyuk was barely responsive, his eyes fluttering shut as his body grew colder. Min Ho's mind raced with panic. He couldn't lose Namhyuk. Not like this. Dae Jung needed him. They all needed him.

An idea suddenly came to Min Ho. Desperate, he lifted Namhyuk's limp body into his arms and carried him to the second-to-last cell, where the lady that Namhyuk had met on his first day was meditating as usual. She was a strong omega queen, known for her healing abilities. If anyone could save Namhyuk, it would be her.

Min Ho placed Namhyuk gently on the ground in front of the lady, his voice pleading. "Please... help him. He's my little brother. He's weak, and I don't know what to do".

The lady slowly opened her eyes, her gaze landing on Namhyuk's pale form. She studied him for a moment before speaking in a calm, measured tone. "He will die if not helped. But why should I help you? What have you ever done for me? You guys captured me here fir years, why should I help you? "

Min Ho's heart sank. He didn't have time for this. He dropped to his knees, bowing his head before the lady. "Please... he's innocent. He's our little brother. Dae Jung loves him so much. I love him. We can't lose him. Your enmity is with others, not this innocent soul."

The lady sighed, her gaze softening slightly at Min Ho's desperate plea. She closed her eyes and began chanting softly, her hands moving gracefully as a golden light began to form around her. The light spread outwards, enveloping Namhyuk's body in its warm, healing glow.

Minutes passed, but as the light continued to work on Namhyuk, the lady began to sweat. Her breathing became labored, and her face twisted in concentration. Min Ho watched in confusion, his worry growing by the second. "What's happening?" he asked, panic creeping into his voice. "Why is it so hard for you? You're a strong omega queen. You should be able to heal him easily."

The lady didn't respond immediately. She continued chanting, her energy waning as the golden light grew brighter around Namhyuk. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she stopped. The light faded, and the lady slumped forward, exhausted.

She looked up at Min Ho with a weary expression. "He's okay now," she said, her voice weak. "But something is wrong with him. His energy... it's been drained, almost as if his life energy was being sucked out of him. That's why it was difficult for me to heal him. But something is wrong with him. He needs help. "

Min Ho's eyes widened in shock. "Drained? How could that happen?"

The old lady shook her head. "I don't know. But whatever it is, it nearly killed him.It may happen again. Try to find out. "

Min Ho bowed deeply in gratitude. "Thank you for saving him.I will try to find out what is the problem with my brother. Please, take this herb. It will help you replenish your energy."

The lady accepted the herb and gave a small nod before closing her eyes to rest.

Meanwhile, in the cell, Seokjin sat quietly, lost in thought. Suddenly, he felt a strange energy ripple through the air. It was familiar-too familiar. His eyes widened as a wave of emotion washed over him.

"Eomma?" Seokjin whispered to himself, his breath catching in his throat. The warmth of the energy enveloped him, filling him with a deep, bittersweet sense of nostalgia. It was a connection he thought he had lost forever, the unmistakable presence of his mother's energy. His heart raced, emotions flooding him as he tried to focus on the sensation

At the same time, the lady who healed Namhyuk was in meditation, her breathing had become steady again after helping Namhyuk, but suddenly, her eyes fluttered open. A surge of energy washed over her, an energy she hadn't felt in what seemed like a lifetime. It was powerful, yet soft, like the embrace of an old friend she never thought she'd sense again.

"What... is this?" the lady murmured, her voice barely audible, as her eyes flickered with a mix of shock and recognition. She could feel it-someone she had once known, someone dear to her. The energy resonated within her, pulling her consciousness toward a distant yet familiar presence.

Without hesitation, she delved into her crystal mind space, a sacred place where she could connect with energies far beyond the physical realm. Her focus sharpened as she extended her reach, trying to grasp hold of the fleeting energy. It was close, so close, yet just out of her full control. The connection was faint, like a whisper on the wind, but it was unmistakably linked to her past.

In his cell, Seokjin closed his eyes, trying to reach out further. He focused all his energy, attempting to connect with the presence. His hands trembled slightly, a sense of desperation rising within him. This was no hallucination-it was real. But just as he thought he might grasp it, the energy began to wane.

No..." Seokjin muttered, his voice laced with disbelief. The pulse that had been growing stronger, that had momentarily filled his heart with hope, began to flicker like a dying flame. He felt it slipping away from him, dissolving into nothingness. His hands clenched into fists as he struggled to hold onto it.

The Omega queen, too, felt the energy fading. Her brows furrowed as she reached out with all her might, trying to maintain the connection. Her breathing became labored again as she strained to hold on. But despite her efforts, the energy was retreating, slipping through her mental grasp like sand through fingers.

"No... come back..." she whispered in frustration, her voice cracking with emotion. "I know that energy. I haven't felt it in so long...

But it was no use. Within moments, the energy had vanished, leaving nothing but an empty void. The lady let out a deep, shaky breath, her body trembling from the effort. Her eyes, once filled with hope and recognition, now dimmed with sadness. She had lost the connection.

Back in the cell, Seokjin opened his eyes, his heart sinking as the feeling disappeared entirely. He was left sitting in silence, a profound sense of loss washing over him. The others noticed the sudden shift in his demeanor but didn't dare ask what had happened. The tension in the room was already thick enough.

Seokjin swallowed hard, his mind racing. What had just happened? Why had he felt his mother's energy after all this time, only for it to vanish before he could reach her? He couldn't shake the feeling that something-or someone-was trying to reach him.

But for now, all he had was silence.

The lady, back in her chamber, sighed heavily and resumed her meditative posture, though her heart was still unsettled. There was a deep, unshakable connection between her and the energy she had felt, but for now, it was out of her reach.

And for Seokjin, that familiar warmth was gone, leaving behind a cold, empty ache in his chest.

Byung Ho stood in the shadows, watching as Namhyuk stumbled around the storage room, desperately searching for a phone. His lips curled into a sinister smile as he observed Namhyuk's struggle, noting how the boy's steps wavered and his body swayed, weakened from the earlier beating. The sight was almost pitiful, yet it played perfectly into Byung Ho's hands.

"This is perfect," Byung Ho muttered to himself, eyes gleaming with malicious intent. "Namhyuk just made things a lot easier."

He continued to watch as Namhyuk finally found a phone-Yoongi's phone-and stuffed it into his pocket, unaware of the eyes on him. The poor fool was so focused on helping the BTS gang that he didn't realize the trap he had walked into. Byung Ho smirked, already planning his next move.

Once Min ho left with Namhyuk , Byung Ho slipped into the storage room, his steps silent. He checked the cabinets and quickly deduced which phone had been taken. His grin widened when he realized it was Yoongi's phone. "This is perfect," he murmured again.

Without wasting a moment, Byung Ho pulled out his own phone. He quickly navigated to a specific video file he had saved-a recording he had been holding onto for just the right moment. It was the video that would turn everything upside down, a video that would shatter the BTS gang's faith in their brother, Namjoon.

Byung Ho's fingers danced over the screen as he sent the video directly to Yoongi's phone. He watched the progress bar fill, and when the message was successfully delivered, he couldn't help but chuckle darkly.

"Let's see how they react to this," he whispered to himself, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "This is just the beginning. Time for step three."

He slipped out of the room, his mind buzzing with the chaos he had set in motion. He could already imagine the look of horror on their faces when they saw what he had just sent. Namjoon's reputation would be utterly destroyed, and the BTS gang would be left questioning everything they believed about their friend.

Byung Ho's plan was progressing smoothly, and Namhyuk had unknowingly played his part perfectly. All Byung Ho had to do now was sit back and watch as everything fell apart.

The seeds of doubt had been planted. Soon, the BTS gang would start to unravel. And once that happened, Byung Ho would swoop in to finish what he had started.

He chuckled once more, his sinister smile growing wider.

"Their trust in each other will crumble. And when it does, I'll be there to pick up the pieces."

As Namhyuk slid the phone through the small space into the BTS gang's cell, he felt a strange uneasiness settle in his chest. He didn't know why, but something about the air in the basement felt different-heavier, more oppressive. The boys inside the cell whispered a quiet "Thank you," their voices hoarse from exhaustion and desperation. Namhyuk nodded slightly, not saying a word as he turned away, his body still aching from the beating he had taken earlier. He wasn't sure why he felt so compelled to help them, but after all they had lost-first Namjoon, and now So Hoon-it felt like the right thing to do.

As he ascended the stairs, the weight of his exhaustion bore down on him. Every step felt like he was dragging his body through thick mud. His vision blurred slightly, and the edges of his consciousness frayed, but he pushed through, determined to get back to his room before anyone noticed. However, just as he was about to reach the upper floors, an iron grip clamped around his wrist, yanking him with such force that he nearly lost his balance.

Namhyuk barely had time to register what was happening before he was dragged down the hallway, stumbling over his feet. His heart raced as he recognized the furious figure pulling him-it was Madam Hana. Her face was a mask of rage, eyes burning with a terrifying intensity that made Namhyuk's blood run cold. She didn't say a word, just kept dragging him with a strength that he couldn't resist.

Namhyuk's breath quickened. Memories of the last time she had cornered him, strangling him in a fit of anger, flooded his mind. He felt that same fear creeping up on him now. He wanted to fight back, to push her away, but his body was too weak. He was too afraid.

She dragged him into her private room, slamming the door shut behind them. Namhyuk stood there, frozen, his heart pounding in his chest as Hana finally turned to face him. Her expression was murderous.

"Do you think you can defy me?" she hissed, her voice low and dangerous. "Sneaking around in the middle of the night like a rat? What did you give them? What are you hiding?"

Namhyuk's mouth went dry. He opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He couldn't bring himself to lie to her, but telling the truth felt like a death sentence.

Hana's eyes narrowed. "You're playing a dangerous game, Namhyuk. You think I don't see through you? That I don't know what you're trying to do?"

"I-I wasn't-" Namhyuk began, his voice trembling, but she cut him off with a sharp glare.

"Shut up!" she spat. "I don't want to hear your excuses. You're lucky I don't kill you right here and now."

Namhyuk flinched, stepping back instinctively, but there was nowhere to go. He was cornered. His heart pounded in his ears, and the dizziness from earlier returned, making it hard to focus. He felt like he was drowning in the tension of the room, unable to breathe under Hana's intense gaze.

Meanwhile, deep in the basement, Yoongi unlocked his phone, ready to call Bang Si Hyuk and confirm the devastating news about So Hoon. But before he could dial the number, a notification caught his eye-a video message from an unknown number. Confused, he tapped on it, and the video began to play.

The room fell deathly silent as the video unfolded.

It started with their beloved Chae Yeong unni and Do Yun hyung. They were huddled together, blood staining their clothes, their bodies battered and broken. They clung to each other, tears streaming down their faces, their eyes wide with fear and desperation. Chae Yeong's voice was shaky, barely above a whisper as she begged for mercy.

"Joon-ah... please..." her voice cracked. "Think about our son... our little boy... He's so young... so innocent... please... I beg you... PLEASE...

The camera panned out to reveal Namjoon, standing a few feet away, his katana sword raised in his hand, its blade dripping with blood. His face was cold, expressionless, his eyes dark and hollow. He didn't say a word. He just stared at them, his grip tightening on the sword's hilt.

The boys watching the video held their breath, horror etched on their faces. Jin shook his head, unable to believe what he was seeing. "No... this can't be... Namjoon would never..."

But the video continued. Namjoon closed his eyes, as if trying to shut out the world, and with one swift, brutal motion, he swung the sword.

The blade sliced through the air, piercing the hearts of both Chae Yeong and Do Yun in a single, merciless strike.

The couple collapsed together, their bodies crumpling to the ground, still wrapped in each other's embrace. Their blood pooled beneath them, staining the ground, as their last breaths escaped their lips.

Yoongi's phone slipped from his trembling hands, clattering to the floor. The sound echoed in the quiet cell, but none of them moved to pick it up. They were frozen in place, their minds reeling from what they had just witnessed.

"Namjoon..." Jin whispered, his voice barely audible. "How... how could he...?"

Tears welled up in his eyes, but he didn't let them fall. He couldn't process the betrayal, the heartbreak. The person who had been their brother, their soulmate, the one who had fought beside them, laughed with them, shared their burdens-he had killed their unni and hyung.

Their hearts shattered as the weight of the truth settled over them like a suffocating blanket. Namjoon, their brother, the man they had loved and trusted above all others, had murdered their family.

Jungkook pressed his hand to his mouth, trying to stifle the sob that threatened to escape. His chest felt tight, his throat constricted with emotion. He wanted to scream, to tear the phone apart, to destroy the evidence of what he had just seen, but he couldn't move.

"This... this has to be fake," Taehyung whispered, his voice shaky, as if he were trying to convince himself. "It's not real. Namjoon wouldn't-he couldn't-"

But even as he said it, he knew it was true. The video was undeniable. The proof was staring them in the face. Namjoon, their Namjoon, had killed their family.

"It can't be..." Jimin's voice cracked, his hands trembling as he clutched his shirt over his heart, as if trying to stop the pain from spreading. "Why... why would he do this?"

None of them had an answer. The room was filled with their silent agony, the weight of betrayal hanging thick in the air. They had lost Namjoon once when he disappeared. Now, they had lost him again-but this time, there was no going back.

The person they had known, the mate they had loved, was gone. They don't know if he can come back, they wanted answers from him. But he is just...gone.

And they didn't know if they would ever be able to forgive him.

Seokjin stared at the phone, his vision blurry from the tears he was trying to hold back. The image of Namjoon, sword in hand, standing over the lifeless bodies of their unni and hyung, burned into his mind. He couldn't shake it. No matter how hard he tried, the scene played over and over again in his head, like a nightmare he couldn't wake up from.

The silence stretched on, suffocating and unbearable. No one dared to speak, afraid that if they did, the reality of what had just happened would crash down on them even harder.

But they didn't need to say anything. The truth was already there, staring them in the face, haunting them.

Their brother had become a killer.

And now, they had to live with that truth.
