Reached home and I reminded myself off too many things ,,, changing into my pink shorts and a loose brown tee,, I looked into the mirror and said to myself hey I m Kaveri , lecturer political science blessed to have secured a good government job based in Delhi ,,Aged 29 with a complicated relationship status , trying to crack some big exams and convincing my family for an intercaste match running through my thoughts about him ... Krishna my Krishna ... I looked around the paintings gifted by him on my birthdays,,then I went on to search my big cream- brown "I love u "teddy bear which i got on my 21st birthday when he was studying in
Just 7th standard and saved his pocket money to gift me that huge teddy expressing his love for me .
He was too smart for his age and arranged all things in advance,, he managed to get a cake , his gift and all the tution students at 6 pm . He arranged the cake on table and sat aside and told others to say that it was a contri cake and everyone has given a share ,, hearing that I got excited and became happy because of so much love I was getting from my students,, I was about to blew the candles on the cake with their chorus happy birthday song but reminded myself of something.. it was that I hadn't called anyone from downstairs....
Then I sent him down to call ma and chik ,, ma came up with a gesture of thanks and many applauds for the students.
She added that Bhiaya has gone for getting some snacks and cold drinks for them and to stay after eating the cake .
Everyone presented their gifts — cute pen and dairy' ,,,milk chocolates , bracelets, greeting cards , flower vases and so on ..
I was excited to see what did he bring ? Or he didn't,?or he forgot my birthday. ,, or he didn't think it the way I did ..
Finally he came nearer and gave me a pen ... I was like Okk !!!! Thnks !! And then ran my eyes all around to find their could be something else or was that all !
Bhaiya came up stairs with samosa Kurkure and cold drinks .. we all ate together... the clock striked 8 pm and only then I noticed that I wasted two hours in that birthday celebration instead of teaching them ! I falsely scolded them and they all said It's ok didi sometimes chlta h !!
And I said ohh that's why all the batches have planned to come at a suitable time so as to bunk the tution class and celebrate my birthday instead..
All of them started laughing ... then the girls coming from far said they needed to leave then as it was already getting dark ,, in winters 8pm is dark enough to avoid solitary walks ,although my area where I reside is a village and a safe place ..but still I said to the boys to accompany them to their houses ,,
A few stayed back stating that they have told their parents to pick them up ..
Cycle riders left and the nearby walkers also left again giving me many many returns and wishes .. Just to kidding I said I will be taking a test tomorrow.. and all were shouting in unison no didi no didi ,, hitler didi this was not done..
I noticed that everyone was leaving with their snacks and cakes ... but his childish eyes were waiting for me to look towards him .. sitting in a blue feathery jacket and black pajamas ,, with shoes kept outside ,,, obviously that was one rule must be abided by !! And to his patience... I paid attention to him and said hmm ... what !!

I solved 2-3 maths problems and he said bye ,good evening! It was not that simple ,, because it was something very noisy inside him ,, although he didt spoke a single word but it was as loud as his silence!
I sneaked into him and experienced that it might be his first crush of his life ! It's usually common for students to get attracted and attached to their teachers .. especially to those with opposite gender and of less age differences !! Although 9- 10 years is quite huge for his age ! Might there be a possibility in near future that this 9-10 years turn down into 4-5 ! Somewhere in my mind came this weird thought and I stopped myself immediately,, stating stupid You,, u r running out of your mind he is just a kid and u must not forget that !
I said ok bye ,, and we descended down the staircase... him following me ,, and trying to stop me but without any gesture and a word ,, it was clearly understood what he was running through but I didn't give him a heed !
