Islinda was still disturbed by her discovery, and when their eyes met, a shudder ran through her body. His eyes were completely black, with the pupil covering the sclera, devoid of any hint of compassion. Unlike the other dark Faeries who proudly displayed their marks, this Fae seemed to embrace his chilling and twisted cruelty.
His gaze bore into Islinda's, making her wonder if he could see through her. Instinctively, she took a fearful step back. However, he looked away, showing no sign of recognition. Islinda placed her hand over her chest, feeling relieved.
That was too close.
Unlike the other Faeries, he was the only one who wore clothes, which allowed the runes on his arms and neck to peek out. Islinda recognized him as the leader of the villains and felt wary of his presence.
He commanded the witch, "You should summon her now."
