Rosalind's blood-curdling scream seemed to rend the very heavens as Maxi continued with her mental torture. She had crawled into a fetal position while her body convulsed from the assault, her voice hoarse from screaming.
Maxi snorted at the scene, "The gods help me, you scream like a girl," but it dawned on her the next minute, "Oh right, you're a girl. You should scream harder then."
As a dark Fae, Maxi could get into Rosalind's head and she inflicted a mental illusion of burning pain. Right now, Rosalind believed her head was on fire and the tormenting pain incapacitated her.
"Scream harder!" Maxi increased the torment, bending down to pick up Prince Wayne, her latest companion.
"Who is my cutie?" She pouted, making silly faces at the cat and ignoring the cries of the victim at her feet.
