"What are you doing, human?!" The Fae stared at her with deep contempt and her heart began to pound in her ribcage.
Islinda opened her mouth to speak, but before she could explain herself, the Fae accused her, "Have you come to steal from me? Is that the only thing your kind is good at, taking things that don't belong to them?"
Now Islinda frowned, furious. How could he accuse her of stealing when he hadn't given her the chance to explain herself? Was she stupid enough to steal a cat in a cage in front of everyone? Also, how dare he stereotype humans as thieves when his race was no better?
"You should let me go, I had no intention of stealing your cat," She attempted to pull her hand from his tight grip, but he wouldn't let go and they engaged in a struggle.
"I said, let me go!" She raised her voice. He was beginning to hurt her.
