"Alright, that's enough," Islinda shrugged Eli away when the staring became too much plus the distasteful whispers from the passers-by were beginning to get to her. Was this how it would be if she dated him for real? Could she endure their constant harassment? Wouldn't Eli use that chance to fulfill his morbid wish of killing them all? And why was she already thinking this far? Islinda shuddered at the thought.
Eli, as stubborn as ever, released her just enough to be able to turn, his arm remained on her waist and when she glanced up, her eyes wandered to his sensual lips and her heart began to race. Why did he have to be so handsome? It made it harder to resist him.
He began to lean in and her stomach did a double flip. However, just as the dark Fae prince was about to brush his lips across hers, Islinda pressed her finger against his mouth and stopped him.
She scoffed, "Nice try."
