"Where are you taking me, shy Fae? It's been minutes already," Islinda complained, dragging her feet along as she followed after him.
"Seriously, stop it!" Issac stopped walking and turned to give her a sharp glare that could vaporize anyone on the spot if he was capable of it.
Islinda halted at the same time with enough space between them, noticing the serious look on his face.
She shrugged, "Fine, let's call a truce then."
"Yes. A truce. Finally!" He eagerly gave in now that he was at the receiving end of it.
Issac visibly relaxed upon her words knowing she wouldn't tease him anymore. It had been fun taunting Islinda until she returned the favor.
"We are here," He said, coming into the horse barn that was separated from the castle building.
"Why are we here?" Islinda couldn't help but ask, although that didn't stop her from appreciating the view.
