I paced in the living room while constantly checking my phone to see if Kai and Zeus were okay. So far, it was radio silent. I didn't know where they were or what they had gone off to do so it only increased the worry I felt.
"Please sit down. It pains to see you this way. "
I ignored Bianca just like I had the last few times she had told me to calm down. It was easier said than done. I was tired and my body was resisting all the movements I was making but I just couldn't sleep.
Not when my two men had gone in blind without knowing who the enemy was. I was convinced it wasn't just Silas, his twin, Katana and Loretta. There was a higher power at play. If the power was higher than Zeus and Kai combined it was hard to tell.
At least they were immortal.
