I stared out the window of the car as we headed to our hotel. I was caught in a trance as I stared at the suburban and industrial areas. Everything seemed beautiful and breathtaking. I was like a child who was seeing the world for the first time.
When I saw the Eiffel Tower, I almost screamed. I couldn't imagine what the city looked like when it was at night. Everyone was so fashionable and refined. My face showed all the excitement I was feeling.
"You might pass out, " Kai remarked.
I hit him on the arm with my hand even though I knew he wouldn't feel any pain. Me hitting him was like a fly landing on your skin.
"Wow. I can't believe this is happening. I think I need to pinch myself to see if I am dreaming or if this is reality. Am I really this lucky? " I asked.
Zeus shook his head and gave me a serious look.
