Licheng and Xiana had their dinner meals in the famous restaurant of the town center and later, headed to the house in the carriage. However, in the middle of their way home, the carriage suddenly stopped.
"What happened?" Xiana thought and reached her hand to open the window when Licheng grasped her hand and gestured for her to be quiet.
"Licheng, why don't you come out?" Both of them heard a masculine voice and then heard the scream of the carriage's driver, whom the man outside just killed.
Licheng leaned closer to Xiana's ear and whispered, "Don't come out. Stay here." He opened the latch of the door and stepped out of the carriage.
"Xu Long?!" Licheng snickered.
"You should show me some respect, Licheng!" Xu Long said and added, "I am the demon lord."
Xiana was shocked to learn about the true identity of Xu Long. She wondered if he already learned about her.
